Why thank you! Eek ... my dear husband just drove up. I should get off this thing before he reads what I wrote :scared: :rotfl: He's not THAT old :lmao: It's his 47th birthday on October 24th and I can't think of a better way to celebrate. It's also our 12th Anniversay on the 26th of October

"dear husband"... aka "the old fart!":rotfl2: .. be careful or I might just mnention it when we meet onboard:rotfl2:

Oh my goodness! - its not meant to make you worry! Please dont feel any pressure to make up poems everybody:rolleyes1

I promise you wont be banned from the Bob or made to walk the plank if you dont make up a poem:rolleyes1

It only started because I made one up for a milestone once for a joke and it kind of stuck as a habit:rolleyes1
I meant that in a good way. I like writing and kept finding a new direction as I was writing it. No pressure. If I didn't want to do it, I wouldn't have! :thumbsup2

Oh good! - thats ok then:thumbsup2 ... you had me worried for a moment!

Just make sure your next one is as good as the first or you'll get detention and lines to write.... no pressure or anything though:rolleyes1 :rotfl:

:scared: You wouldn't??? Actually he's used to it and gets harassed quite a bit. He did just read what I wrote and he left the house laughing and headed back to work. I think that he'll still take me out to dinner ... at least I hope he will. He is laughing at me lately because he has to cut up my dinner and help me get dressed because of my shoulder and collar bone. He's been teasing me that he thought he got himself a younger wife so that I could do these things for him in a few years. I guess I have to get it in while I can hey?

Just got back from my daily 30min walk. Nancy walked at lunch time with a fellow teacher friend. They walked the college campus.
Nancy is doing quit well I she is 2lbs from her 2008 cruise weight.
For me I have about 8 to loose.
Keep working at it you will do it.:cheer2: :cheer2: .

Dan

I feel compelled to clarify that statement. 2 lbs is from the weekend, not the cruise!!!!!

N:yay:

I have a Pancake Sisters question. Are you going to arrange a "gathering" at a Palo brunch or is there too many people to try and coordinate everyone being there at the same time? And if it is at the Palo brunch ... do you all bring your husbands, brothers, significant others? I'm not sure that Ron would let me go to Palo's without him ... but I'm not sure he wants to be seen with me there with a pancake on my head either :rotfl2: Maybe I could arrange for him to go to the bathroom or a message be sent to him that he needs to check out one of the kids in the club or something??? :rotfl:

You hubby sounds like a good sport:goodvibes ... I have a toy boy to cut my meat up for me:lmao: ...(well, he's 2 years younger than me, and he likes to remind me every so often:rolleyes: )

:worship: A toy boy ... lucky you! But, just like my darling son, I wouldn't trade my husband either ... most days, anyway  He has a great sense of humour and is a lot of fun!

According to my WiiFit, I have just over 12 pounds to lose :confused3 I don't think any of my clothes from our last cruise still fit me :sad1: Something that I'm working on though :cheer2:

I've not heard any rumblings of a Pancake Sister brunch - just a Palo brunch in general at which we would order pancakes for induction services.

Hi All,

We had a change of plans today and decided to take a drive down the east coast to pay a surprise visit to Shirley and Norm at The Perfect Gift. I'm glad we went today as Norm is having skin cancer surgery tomorrow morning. Norm has a small spot on his face that needs to be removed. Other than that, Norm and Shirley seem to be doing OK.

Before we stopped at the Shirley's store we made a short side trip stop at Ron Jon's Surf Shop in Cocoa Beach and picked up some t-shirts and a gift for Bryan.

We also had lunch at Grills, I ordered the Grilled Tuna Sandwich and it was as good as ever!!! Hazel and Lina both ordered the Grilled Chicken Sandwich. I did have a slice of Key Lime Pie for dessert, each of the girls had a small Sundae.
