I will have to try it? Do you have a weight loss group? I would love to join. I need some motivation.

It's yummy, low-fat, and easy. I usually pair it with brown rice and veggies.

Just this one!

We have a Yahoo Group for this cruise group - not sure who's moderating it. Jeff, Andy, Nancy G.? Anyone know???? I have forgotten....

Anyway, there's a database over there to log your progress...

Let's see who's got the info for the Yahoo group.

In the meantime, maybe you and I can motivate each other. I am going shopping tonight and getting my behind in gear tomorrow!

Me either, you can't see the top of my desk................

Hey there, how ya doin'? The sun is out. Supposed to be in the 50's but it's not there yet. And it's quite breezy - comes right off the ocean. Just got back from some errands & am going to meet a friend at scholl to walk on her lunch break.......

My mother just turned 89 last week & my dad will be 89 in July. One of my grandmothers lived into her mid 90's & the other was just 2 weeks shy of her 99th. Since we shared the same birthday my goal is to beat her & make it to 99!!!!

Good luck on your goal. :thumbsup2

My Grandmother already told me I don't have the Belgiun blood in me so I will have a party if I get to 75 (the men die at 74). :rotfl2:

My Grandmother had two or three aunts that lived into their 90's as well, which is really surprising given they were born in the 1800's.

Our son hopefully inherited some good genes. Besides my grandmother, Suz has one that is 92 and the other is in her late 80's if not 90. That would be cool for him to be born in 2000 and live to 2100. Although I may kill him before he's 10. :rolleyes1 :lmao:

Thank you this helped alot. They just started building here withing the past 8 or so years. The first one that opened was in Scottsdale and people would drive from all over the state to get to it. The drive thru lines where out into the street. They had to get cones to make a drive thru that winded its way through the parking lot. Hmmm wait it minute. It has been more then 8 years it was 10 years ago. I remember going there and waiting an hour in the drive thru for food after spending the day with my college friends. Since then they are popping up every where. They are actually one of the few companies I know right now actually building let alone opening new locations. Scott would like to know what parts of Calif. and Az. you lived in.

I went to college at ASU (Class of '88) and lived in Tempe. After that I lived in Orange County, CA for 13 years. We moved to Virginia in 2001. I loved my time at ASU, but Arizona was very HOT in the summer. :cool2: I got spoiled, weather wise, in California. Now Virginia is nice for the change of seasons. Years from now, we plan to retire somewhere in South Carolina.

Thanks. Grandma is a great woman. You should see the pics of when she was young. The best thing is she is still "all there". She is sharp as a tack, knows all that is going on in the world, and will argue politics with me. My aunt on my mom's side (this is my Dad's mom who turned 100) died last Tuesday. She use to live in the home my Grandma is now in. One of her daughters was in helping with mass this Sunday. Now my aunt has not been at the home for over 2 years. My Grandma saw her passing in the hall and remember exactly who she was and gave her condolences. This is someone she only knew through vaguely through her daughter-in-law (my mom, who passed away almost 7 years ago). I tell you, if I ever make it to 100, let alone 75 (that is when the men in my family usually pass away - my dad was only 63 though), I hope I'm in the same mental capability as my Grandma. She is an Amazing woman.

And No, Logan isn't so little anymore. I have pictures from his first wrestling meet to put up too. I'll try and get those up today or tomorrow.

Great pictures Jeff. I don't think any of my relatives have made it to the century mark. Although my Dad's side usually makes it into the mid 80s. My Mom's side is usually in the mid 70s. Of course, my eating habits are probably much worse than any of them. I could probably go at any time. (Knocking on wood just in case.)

Is it true that having a gym membership makes you healthier (even if you don't go). :rolleyes1

Note to self: Get to the gym this week! Stop drinking soda! Find something green to eat!

Stop drinking soda! Find something green to eat!
You and me both Matthew! I must say, I have been drinking more water lately, especially when I am at the gym. The good thing is that I eat a lot of chicken, so I try to cut down my red meat intake.

Soda...that will be a struggle! Although if I focus on it, I should beat it. On our first cruise with RCCL, I was not going to pay for soda, and only had soda twice all week. We were off the ship and on excursions. I had water with my meals at dinner and drank lemonade on deck.

Last Question of the Day:

What's your favorite 'junk food' on the Magic/Wonder or any of the Disney Parks?

My answer: Ship/Chicken Tenders, Park/Dole Whip:thumbsup2

Ditto - Mine too!:thumbsup2

Here are some pics from my Grandma's party this weekend. She turned 100 today.

Here's Grandma:

Thanks Karen.

And, um....No. I'm actually up in weight from our trip to Mexico. I think I just carry it well. I should try to fool the guessers at the fair next time. Also, you can't see the gut in that picture. :rolleyes1 :rotfl2:

Went for a walk, the beach is packed. I wish I had my camera so you could see the difference from the last picture I posted. I sure hop my kids don't act this stupid on the beach when we are not around. There is a lot of drinking going on out there.
