Our daughter Tianna will be turning eight in September. Would you be interested in them getting to know each other via email or something? Tianna can be very shy in new settings ... until she gets to know people and then she is anything but shy.

My daughter Sarah will be turning 10 on the cruise. That puts her in a different age group in the clubs.. but at the pool, I'm sure she would get along with anyone. She often plays with younger girls in our neighborhood. There are more that are actually Megan's age (11 now, turing 12 on the cruise) than near Sarah's age.

I just reserved rental cars for my father. I wanted to make sure he got a good deal, so we both got the same rates and are using the same companies. This is good since we are flying on the same flights.

Chicks??? I'm here too. :lmao:

Yes, it is good to see Heather back as well.

Whooops, sorry Chris. :goodvibes

I'm still here.....

Tell me something about the cruise. What excursion are you looking forward to? I haven't researched much of it at all...

Once we figure out who among our family is really cruising we'll get together and find something we'll like. In 05 when Chuck and I did the Eastern we did the St Martin Island and Explorer cruise. We really enjoyed it too. Unlimited Rum punch on the boat Sistah P!! :cool1: In St Thomas we were just going to walk around a little but instead opted to do one of those private tours which we also enjoyed. This time, we'll let the kids decide. We're open to just about anything. :wizard:

Can you tell I have no interest to work today!!!!

:lmao::lmao::lmao:I never do Joanne! :lmao::lmao::lmao:

Ummm....Dawg? Don't forget Bernie is in Canada, not the US. May want to start sooner rather than later. :thumbsup2

Mike, it took Kristin 4 weeks to get her Passport Renewal Book last month.:)

Sorry Folks.......the bottom finally dropped from underneath me and I also feel like I got kicked in the gut this morning at work. :headache: With the "reduction" of "additional salary" starting in April :mad: there is no way that Hazel and I will be able to cruise anytime soon. :sad2:

I wish I could express how sick to my stomach I am feeling right now. If I had been turning 55 next month, instead of April 2010, I would have been filling out my retirement papers before the end of the day. :rolleyes:

I am so sorry. Don't cancel just yet. You never know what may happen in the next month or two.

On the upside, you still have a job Andy. Hang in there, maybe things will change for you!! :flower3:

My daughter Mackenzie will turn 10 the end of June.

Ok, time for a little speculation. While vacumming a few minutes ago, I had an idea.

Does anyone think that DCL will have an innaugural Trans Atlantic Sailing prior to scheduled service from Port Canaveral to the Caribbean?

I am thinking the demand would we sky high, and they now have a following that they didn't have when they launched in 1998 or even when the Wonder first sailed in 1999.

It was just a thought...

I personally don't think they will, but it would be a cool idea to think about. I would try desperately to make it work with airfare to Europe.

Sorry you won't be able to make it on the cruise.

Keep focus on the bright side. Like Nancy said, at least the job is still there. I'd rather keep my current job at less money than have to look for one. Suz and I talked and we're both open to reductions before elimination.

Question, did you ever use your DVC points this year? What about using them towards a cruise? :confused3 Granted you don't have a full contract, but maybe you could do a Wonder cruise. Just a thought.

What did they do on the last two cruises? Is it time spent finishing up the ship or maybe training the new personnel? Might not be the best cruise to be one.

However, I'm sure the first cruises will be sold out quickly. I don't need to be on one of the first ones. I may just look at October 2011, depending on which month the ship actually starts sailing. If that is too close to the innaugural sailing, I may put it off a bit.

I would think the ship and crew would definitely need a shakedown period. I still don't know if we will do KK3/BOB2 or go to WDW. I am thinking we will most likely do a cruise in 2011. If they have a good deal, I may even book onboard in October.

I mailed off my paperwork on the 17th of this month. I'll let you know when it comes in.

as for the passport question--I think they pushed back the date from Jan to June of this year.....

thanks paige.:thumbsup2

they pushed the passports back again?
oh, maybe they'll push it back to nov and we wont need one after all.
:woohoo::thumbsup2
