Oh, good - we can go there for dinner when we come to visit (Churchill Downs, Maker's Mark and the Louisville Slugger factory too please) :cutie:

Not to worry Nancy - they are made with love in Coney Island and they contain many delicious and nutritious ingredients.

"It gained its first international exposure when President Franklin Delano Roosevelt served Nathan’s Famous hot dogs to the King and Queen of England in 1939. Later, Roosevelt had Nathan’s hot dogs sent to Yalta when he met with Winston Churchill and Joseph Stalin. Years later, Nelson Rockefeller, Governor of New York, stated that, “No man can hope to be elected in his state without being photographed eating a hot dog at Nathan’s Famous."

You obviously have very good taste! And remember, food consumed on vacation doesn't contain any calories!

I would love to show you our city!

Well, I think I got that blasted grant finished! I just had to add a few things regarding evaluation methods etc. I just have to wait to hear from the finance department now as to how my budget looks. I haven't heard anything yet, so that is a good thing.

Good Luck!:wizard:

Good morning everybody.
Just got in from cleaning up another 3 inches of snow that fell last night:guilty::guilty:..
As I said last night Nancy and I are headed for Bangor to watch our grandson in the State PEWEE tournament. They finished 3rd out of 8 teams in his group which are 2nd year Pewee.
We head out after lunch and will be back Sunday.
Everybody have a great weekend
Dan

Have a great time!

DS # 2 in in a CPA firm. it's his first year and he is in Audit, bu they are requiring him to bill out 55 hours a week from 1/16-4/15.

Billable hours(shudder) Those are the most stressful words.:scared1: I am so glad I do not have to do that anymore. It is great experience. Has he done any Form 5500 audits? It used to be that low man got those lovley audits.:rotfl:

Dining - I sure hope they put us all in the same area like last time. I loved seeing everyone at dinner in all their finery. Is someone organising this so Disney know we're all linked?

Cass - I remember the first night - you were almost forced into the nut free zone with us:scared: Poor Jeff and family were angels and agreed to be "nut free for a week " with us:goodvibes

I'm sure Jeff will help you all with the linking ;)

The weird thing about the problems we had that first night is that Rob and his sister were placed at different tables than us. I think Rob's card said he was at your table and his sister was at Lori's table :confused3  But the rest of us were at our table, #9. LOL!

I could do the nut-free thing every night except for Chocolate and Peanut Butter Pie night ;)

robin also had back surgery and thats some scary stuff.

OH MY! - MEMBER 4

Can I join the club?? My L5 is fused to my sacrum and I have some disc degeneration. In the past 2 years, I've started to look like a hunchback after sitting for more than an hour :scared: It's kinda scary thinking I am only 36...what will I be like in 10 years :scared1:

Wow! - finally got caught up on the old thread:thumbsup2

Theres a lot of you on late dining:sad1: - cant we persuade you all to switch to earlies and we can all take over the entire restaurant:woohoo:

That would be awesome!!!!!! However, there's NO WAY I am missing another sunset!!!! :headache: We had to do early seating last cruise (first time ever!) because of Rob's family and we missed every single sunset  I will never do that again!!

Here you guys are....I was in shock! I am a lurker, nothing more and nothing less. I kept looking in on thread # 18 and was quite taken back when all traffic seemed to stop last night. I couldnt figure it out. I was worried that the ship left without me...so to speak...:lmao: But here you are, I found you. Off I go lurking again....
Oh, by the way, this is my contribution to thread #19. I am sure by the time I finish typing this you will be onto thread # 20 or # 21...:rotfl2:
Have a great day everyone........I am in the midst of a snow storm, so my day sucks.

Lurk away but please post when you can so we can get to know you!! :goodvibes
I see that you made your own little BOB banner...cool!! :cool1:

Just to let you know...there's several different designs of BOB graphics for your signature, including a little banner, on the BOB site. Here's the logo page....http://www.cassworld.ca/bob-logos.htm

So I now have a moving buddy, thanks njprincess, :cool1: and I have about 18 posts to come up with a poem. hmmmmm, my day is getting brighter...LOL!!:goodvibes

Softball starts next week here, and baseball shortly after that. Now, if only Spring were here, too! I'm sick of Winter. Even though we have not had lots of snow, I really don't like cold temps.

I'm with you there Paige......;)

Just got in for lunch after spending three hours walking around in windchill temps of 10-15 above zero. My lungs are actually burning right now.

I've updated the dining page with a few more names for linking. I've also added a few notes at the top.

Just wanted to mention it here too....

Remember that if you are linked with someone, you will all have the same rotation, so if you have a desired rotation like APL (earliest of the three) and you request that rotation with DCL, everyone will be on that rotation. :thumbsup2

Is this the one you like Karen? :rotfl2:

Although any guy that would wear an outfit like this may be a "different' kind of pirate.

:scared1: Oh my goodness. Please tell me that this is not one of you!!! I'm thinking about jumping ship if it is. I'm off to pack my dh & ds for a hockey tournament this weekend. I get to stay home with dd and dog and get caught up around the house:laundy: Maybe I'll even get to take my Christmas tree down - something I maybe should have been doing instead of reading all of the posts - this is very addictive!!!

I worked for a big six after college in tax and could not handle tax season after Ryan was born. I have tried to convince him to do something other than public accounting. He really is interested in auditing for ATF or FBI. :scared1: This scares me but he has to do what makes him happy.

I have a friend I grew up with that has an MS in Tax and he left Public. He is now working as the tax manager for a large law firm here. He just didn't want the long hours any more.

Your son should also look at the CIA. They're hiring too. A lot of those Gov't agencies like to hire Accountants, Lawyers and Engineers because of their thought process.

It may be a good career move seeing that Fed Gov't jobs will be the only safe ones. :sad2:

Yeah, because some got up before dawn when Becky and I were trying to do excursions for the Repo and couldn't figure out why we couldn't log in. :rolleyes1 :rotfl2:

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: And that was after only 1 hrs sleep.

55 hours a week, getting off light. :rotfl:

Are they making him help out the Tax people?

I HATE From 5500. I made sure that the company doing our FSA and 401K also would be doing those for us. That is a nasty form.

Well, it looks like I'm caught up. Think I'll go lay down now. I took the day off because I can't sit too much today. My back is better than it was last night, but still bad. Hope I survive the kids tonight. Not looking forward to the snow tomorrow though. Good thing we have a snowblower. Although, I think four 9 years olds could clear the drive way pretty quickly, don't you? :rotfl2:

Hope you're felling better later.

Oh well I guess the accounting talk put everyone to sleep.:lmao:

Except the accountants. :lmao:

So, how many "strange" groups do we have now on this thread. We had the "scarred", the "left-handers", then the "bad backs", and now the "accountants". Not sure if the "non-touching food" is a group. Is it only Lori and Mike in that one?

What's next, the tattoo or piercing (other than ears) group? I for one am not in either of those.
