You sound like Karen when you say that. It was funny listening to her on the KK when we'd get shrimp:

"Ewww...bodies" :rotfl:

She won't touch those things.

Everyone in my family LOVES shrimp except me. My parents are pretty sure they took the wrong baby home from the hospital!

Glad to find you karen up and about. Take it slow all that housework will still be there tomorrow.

I've stopped for a while - its twingeing again

IHOP - a.k.a. 'Mecca' for the Pancake Sisters! Your DS has good taste! :thumbsup2

Wow, Karen, good for you - you're so plucky! Just don't overdo it :flower3:

We'd never been before our xmas trip.. I must say we all actually quite liked it:rotfl2: I had a has brown and cheesey omelette - yummy!

It's good to see Karen somewhat up and about.

Thanks Chris:hug:

Karen don't over do. laundry and house work will wait for you:laughing:

I'm taking all your advice - I'm stopping now:thumbsup2

You are right Karen! It was Bernie back just one thread. Your turn.:goodvibes

I'll go find something:thumbsup2

Is this the one you like Karen? :rotfl2:

Although any guy that would wear an outfit like this may be a "different' kind of pirate.

Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww:scared: :rotfl2:

Good morning everybody.
Just got in from cleaning up another 3 inches of snow that fell last night:guilty::guilty:..

Stay warm!

Or did you mean this one?

Now then... THATS MORE LIKE IT!:lovestruc

Here you guys are....I was in shock! I am a lurker, nothing more and nothing less. I kept looking in on thread # 18 and was quite taken back when all traffic seemed to stop last night. I couldnt figure it out. I was worried that the ship left without me...so to speak...:lmao: But here you are, I found you. Off I go lurking again....
Oh, by the way, this is my contribution to thread #19. I am sure by the time I finish typing this you will be onto thread # 20 or # 21...:rotfl2:
Have a great day everyone........I am in the midst of a snow storm, so my day sucks.

We even have one of those here in Louisville. It is on the river and is a nice place to go in the summer.

Oh, good - we can go there for dinner when we come to visit (Churchill Downs, Maker's Mark and the Louisville Slugger factory too please) :cutie:

No sarcasm Chris. I love Nathan's hot dogs!! (Just don't tell me what's in them). :scared1:

Not to worry Nancy - they are made with love in Coney Island and they contain many delicious and nutritious ingredients.

"It gained its first international exposure when President Franklin Delano Roosevelt served Nathan’s Famous hot dogs to the King and Queen of England in 1939. Later, Roosevelt had Nathan’s hot dogs sent to Yalta when he met with Winston Churchill and Joseph Stalin. Years later, Nelson Rockefeller, Governor of New York, stated that, “No man can hope to be elected in his state without being photographed eating a hot dog at Nathan’s Famous."

You obviously have very good taste! And remember, food consumed on vacation doesn't contain any calories!

Well, I think I got that blasted grant finished! I just had to add a few things regarding evaluation methods etc. I just have to wait to hear from the finance department now as to how my budget looks. I haven't heard anything yet, so that is a good thing.

You obviously need a moving buddy to leave breadcrumbs for you - I will volunteer!

Nut free in the food sense, not in the human characteristic sense. :lmao:

Erm.... :rolleyes1 .. only kidding - We loved dining with you last time:thumbsup2

My DS is the assistant wrestling coach for his old high school. It is a great sport. I had no idea what it was until his freshman year of high school and he join the team. At first if he was in an awkward position I wanted to smack his appoinent but by his senior year I really got into it.

I'm not sure I'd be able to watch - I'd be jumping in and smacking any kid who tried to wrestle Ellis:rolleyes1 :lmao:

Yes, he is in wrestling. It is not what you see on TV with all the lights and theatrical performances, it is wrestling similar to what you'd see in the olympics.

My mom never would let me go out for it, but Suz and I are all for letting him do it. He really likes it and it is a displined sport.

Good for him! Sounds interesting:thumbsup2 ... it would be fun getting him and Ellis together onboard - one will be wrestling and the other karating:lmao:

That's it, thanks Karen.

As good as Leesa and Laura were, you would love Leslie. He is Indian and would bring us different Indian dishes special from the kitchen. I was thinking of you when we had the Curry one night.

I may put a request in for our server this time (either Leslie or Leesa - if either is still on the ship) and not worry about the dining time. We've been on enough that it doesn't matter where we are on what night, I'd rather have an excellent dining team.

Leslie sounds good too:thumbsup2 - me likey curry:thumbsup2 ...I agree - a good dining team is definately more important than what time:thumbsup2

I'm guessing Heather.

WRONG!:rotfl2: I already got it:p

Eeeewwwwww:scared: ... bodies:scared: .... disgusting:scared: .. you'll all be eating eyeballs next:scared:

Maybe if I would have read further, I would have not posted an incorrect answer (or an answer at all).

:rotfl2:

My son is skinny. He weighs about 63 pounds (52" tall). Every once and a while the coach will put him with heavier kids which I think is good.

They are so alike... Ellis is still skinny too

Its good he gets a chance with heavier kids.. when Ellis spars with much higher belts he tries much harder than when he's sparring someone of his own level. I'm pleased he's now in the intermediate 2 hour class with kids of 5 belts higher than him. They do the exact same lesson so its pushing them to learn much quicker:thumbsup2

Hi there! - well done for coming out of "lurk mode" and joining us:goodvibes :thumbsup2

It gets easier the more you do it;)

It actually becomes quite addictive:rotfl2:

Sorry to hear you've got snow - stay safe

ps - not sure if you're aware you're heading for a milestone soon - look at your post count...

I dont want to scare you any further.... but....its customary around here for a little poem at each milestone;)

Neils just got home:banana:

He's taking Ellis to the park on his bike:banana:

I dont feel so guilty now... at least he's got out for a while today:banana:

Just getting Ellis Ben 10 Alien force, Bolt and a few other ds games downloaded while he's out - at least he'll have something to do tomorrow:lmao:

He's only in 3rd grade, so no weight class yet - they don't go that low. :rotfl:

My son is skinny. He weighs about 63 pounds (52" tall). They don't have many kids on the team (private school), so he usually ends up wrestling kids younger than him due to his weight. They start in Kindergarten. Every once and a while the coach will put him with heavier kids which I think is good. It allows him to wrestle kids with more experience.

First matches are in March. Don't think we'll do the one on the 7th, but he'll be at the next 2. He didn't want to do the tournaments last year (his first year). They have the option if they want to wrestle in their school.

My daughter is the same age and she is really tiny. She is just 42 lbs and just turned 9, but she is short too. She is an athlete though. She can run, jump, tumble, etc. One day, she told me to take her training wheels off her bike. I was hesitant but she was adamant. I took them off and she rode like she had been riding her whole life. I think that was before our 2006 cruise so she was pretty young. She and I were going to ride the bikes at CC, but never got around to it.

135 and 140 would be where I would have wrestled if my mom let me go out. I was 5' 10" in HS, so I would have been big in that weight class. But I wasn't an unhealthy skinny, just in shape - oh the good 'ol days. I don't think they have a weight class for me now - may "over", as in over-weight. :rotfl2:

Just don't have him go into Public Accounting or have him go into the Audit side. My busy time is actually end of July, beginning of August. Our year-end is June 30th. It is nice to just pick up and go somewhere in winter.

I worked for a big six after college in tax and could not handle tax season after Ryan was born. I have tried to convince him to do something other than public accounting. He really is interested in auditing for ATF or FBI. :scared1: This scares me but he has to do what makes him happy.

Member 5:thumbsup2 - welcome

...

We love Bahama Breeze, cheesecake factory,.. Ellis's would probably be IHOP:lmao:, Neils would be anywhere that did good ribs or steak.

Snap Karen, great minds think alike, Olivias loves the pizza there. Sean loves the steak houses in I Drive, the bigger the steak the better:thumbsup2

Good morning everybody.
Just got in from cleaning up another 3 inches of snow that fell last night:guilty::guilty:..
As I said last night Nancy and I are headed for Bangor to watch our grandson in the State PEWEE tournament. They finished 3rd out of 8 teams in his group which are 2nd year Pewee.
We head out after lunch and will be back Sunday.
Everybody have a great weekend
Dan

Have fun and becareful in that yucky weather.

Everyone in my family LOVES shrimp except me. My parents are pretty sure they took the wrong baby home from the hospital!

My family is just the opposite I love shrimp but no one else does. It may be becuase they are allergic to shell fish and I am not. ;) Maybe we got switched at birth.

Well, I'm doing well on the housework today..

I got a load of laundry done - (Ellis bent down and loaded it in for me:thumbsup2)

I've cleaned the kitchen and tidied the downstairs.

Next I'm going to tackle a bit of ironing:sad2:

Take it easy there Karen!:thumbsup2
