Cruise Related Question to follow!

So, besides Budget and Avis, who else is in Port that has shuttles? I know Thrifty is there, but they're not reliable. Hertz is there too. Who is out front of the Country Inn?

Trying to get car rentals set up here.

We will be doing this when we get back from the Trunk Bay excursion (booking through DCL). It is right at the port, so it should work out well.

I was wondering where the sky lift was and if we could fit that in with the Trunk Bay excursion. Sounds like it is doable :thumbsup2

I thought Hertz was the one that was in front of the Country Inn.

the sky lift was fun, but when we did it in 2005 you couldnt see the Magic because we were parked wayyyyy far away.:sad1:

I'll have to check them, but Hertz is usually high priced. I want to use Avis, but their prices are up right now. The good thing about car rentals is you can easily cancel and rebook.

Good evening everyone. I just got home from a long day. This is a very busy week for us. We have a lot going on.

I think i read that Hertz is at the Residence now. Can anyone confirm? I also read today that Thrifty is a business that is on an unofficial endangered corporations list.

That's right, you guys were rerouted to an Eastern.

That Dock is NOT where we want to come in. Luckily, if there is only two other ships listed, we'll all dock at the main dock in St. T.

I've never been on it, but I think it is right at the port, or very nearby.

we got diverted that year. supposed to do western. i guess thats we docked far away. there were a few other ships there too.

I was playing around with rentals the other day, and Avis was cheaper than Budget for a full size car.

That's the size I'm looking at (although after Suz' packing for the Repo, I may need a cargo van :rotfl: ). I just pulled out my Entertainment Book to see if any coupons/codes can be used.

When I checked without codes, Avis was higher.

I am not reserving a car until I book my flights. That will probably be sometime this summer once Southwest opens up.
