I am actually home sick today with a sore throat and a fever, so I'm DISing because it makes me feel better. :flower3:

I did actually finish the 1st section of my trip report today, which does have pictures, but of Disney (haven't gotten to that part yet). http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2042077

The King Cake recipe looks fabulous! It looks like something nice to make for the office for Fat Tuesday (is that OK?) Just one question - where to you get the baby to bake into the cake? Does Michaels have stuff like that?

Kathy,

Feel better soon. I am working from home today. I have been working from home a couple times a week. It is great. I have Jack on my lap and Walter on my feet keeping them warm. :goodvibes

See if you can find a couple for you and me....:grouphug:

No money trees, we've just been saving for this for awhile. :yay: Plus, my parents are paying for the hotel and the cruise once we get there. Yes, we KNOW how lucky we are!!!

Boy am I glad to hear that! We are flying to Hawaii, in first class, on United in September, to celebrate my parent's 55 wedding anniversary. They had the cheapest fare and the best planes (777 from O'Hare to Honolulu) so we went with them. But I haven't flown with them for a long time, so I feel much better now.

We were pleasently surprised. Suz was counting the number of times they came through the cabin offering stuff, taking garbage, and just their overall interaction and attitude.

We have not seen it like this in quite some time. Not sure if all flights with them are like that, but this one sure was. I'll have to ask my brother if this is common all the time. He flies them constently (3-4 trips to Asia a year and all other domestic trips).

Walter is like a 50lb heater. He is the sweetest dog. He has been with us about a month and half. He has settled in very nicely. He is already spoiled. He was so well behaved when he first came to use but has learned some bad habits from Jack.

Can't post picture of Texas weather, because it changes all the time...31 to 80 degrees in one day...:goodvibes

FO for Walt :cool1:

Morning. Well #18. Thought we would start a new thread last night. I'll have to back and read the last couple of pages. We'' done BOB'ers.

Cass, they have a great Build-a-Bear in DL. I think it's the only store where you can by Disney outfits for Bears.

Cool! I think we may try to get down to DL next year, much cheaper for us and Kira will be at the right age for the bears, I will make sure we stop :thumbsup2 :cool1:

Sorry Cass, missed the post about Kira. Hope she's doing well.

No problem, she just had a reaction to something and we ended up at the ER. She's ok now :goodvibes

Not mad, just that a little bit of cold doesn't affect me too much when I'm so warm. I did put my jeans and socks on before I walked out of the terminal though this time.

I'm like that when I get back from vacation too! I am wearing crocs and shorts all the way home! I get the funniest looks from people :rolleyes1

Wooohooo, gonna go read it. I'm sick and Kira's still sick and all she wants to do is watch shows, so I am gonna grab the laptop and go cuddle with her and DIS :thumbsup2

Sounds wonderful! We went to Hawaii in 2000 and the only way we were able to go was because Rob's parents footed most of the bill. I fell in love with the big island and I'm looking forward to getting back one day, I would love to see Maui!

I found my photobucket password.
