Aruba to be exact. It's our favorite "island" to stay in at CBR.

Rick loved Aruba when we visited there in Aug. He said it would be a great place to retire to. I don't think so, buddy. Too far from home.

I'll have to look back and see what 'island' we stayed at, but your right about Aruba....it's all that pink!

Nope, every room had one of those dispensers. Plus, there was Carona in the fridge (along with soda and bottled water).

Or were you asking if I was kidding that I didn't drink it? The answer to that is, no, I wasn't kidding, I didn't have one drink in our room or on our balcony.

Have you ever done napkin folding Nancy. Bev and I did it when DCL did napkin folding and creating cocktails in the same lesson. Boy, were those cocktails strong but the folding after was such a laugh.

You know, the cabin stewards will teach you how to make them. DS had that done twice now on DCL. In fact, I think they have a class for it one of the days too.

But I'm with you Nancy, I do rectangles.

Does anyone else think that lamp on the wall looks a little peculiar? I suppose if you have enough from the liquor dispenser you'd never notice.

I've told you, Mr. Julio, Don Julio, is a MUCH better friend.

I'll have you try some next time you're over. Heck, it will give me a reason to take the bottle out (if I remember where it is - we don't drink at home, maybe one or two a year, so I have to think where I stored it).

Why? you was on vacation, weren't you?

They had enough other bars to get drinks at (pool, lobby, stage, sports bar, disco). Plus, I think in the evening I only had one with or before dinner and one after before bed. We're not like those who have 2-3 an hour. I'd be lucky if I had 5-6 in the 12 hours from when the bars opened until we went to bed and that would be a lot. I did a lot of diet soda or water.

Jeff, sorry if I missed this but what hotel was this?

Mel, sorry, I don't think I answered this for you and not sure if you saw it on the thread.

It was the Riu Tequila in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. AFEG and I went there this past week (well he was there Wed-Wed, we were there Thu-Wed). It was a great time. Excellent weather and just relaxing.

Well that will help seal the deal on which Moderate we stay at next. Although, I think that was next up for us since DS is now not interested in the theme pools and would rather be in the quiet pools. Maybe this will be our stay on the Thursday before the cruise.

I'm thinking Dixie Landings for after, just for the water taxi to Downtown Disney (don't want to fight parking or buses on Halloween for their trick-or-treat down there ).

Here are a few more pics I got of the fawn. We've been in this house almost 29 years, this is the first time I have seen a deer in our yard.​

That sure is a furry dear. Our dear in Texas don't have that much fur. I don't think so anyways. I guess the fawns need it to stay warm in that kind of weather.(snow) Diane

Yes Walt was wound up yesterday. I guess he is too excited. He has three more weeks left of work then off on his bike, playing golf, playing with his trains and hanging out with me. Boy he sure will have fun. Diane

OK, I wasn't going to post anymore tonight because of the rotten day I had, but a very good friend of mine called and told me to check out an e-mail she had just sent to me. She said it would cheer me up. Well, I just watched it, I have tears running down my face and I think I might have wet myself from laughter.

On arriving for visitation hours I discover Mary is now in ICU. During morning physical therapy she got lightheaded and they discovered there is a blood clot in her lung. They are treating it, and she is stable, if tired at the moment.

Good morning everyone. I have come into the office after a workout today. It was my 2nd day using free weights, so I can barely lift my arms!

30 pages of DIS after not quite two days. We are a chatty bunch!
