Guess what guys.....We have snow!

They'll all be in the same kids club:thumbsup2 - we couldnt get Ellis out of the place last time and I know Jeff had the same problem with Logan:rotfl2:
Samantha plays well with boys. I guess having a little brother helps out with that.

Last cruise, we couldn't get our kids to stay in the clubs! Jay was only 4 though. It was mostly him that wanted out. This time, he will be 7, and is more socially adjusted than before. I am hoping they stay in so we can enjoy some Quiet Cove pool time!

He normally drinks diet coke, but when on vacation he throws caution to the wind and forgets his diet and just has what he wants.

Don't we all :goodvibes

And Happy Anniversary to Heather & Rick

Cass,

How did you hold the camera for Everest? That was a great video!

It was taken on my little digital elph camera, I just held it up :thumbsup2 I am surprised the video came out that nice actually, it's just a digital camera, not a camcorder. ::yes:: :thumbsup2

Cass that was a great Video of Everest.
I plan on going on it in OCT.
The last time and the only time I have been on a Coaster was about 10 yrs ago and I went on Space Mountain.

Rob looked like he was having a Blast.
Im going to have a Coaster expert doing it with me and I have been told we will do them all.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1:.

Rob and I are HUGE coaster junkies :cool1: We always wait for 1st row and have done as many as we could over the years. In fact, right after we got married, we went on the Manhattan Express coaster in Las Vegas, I was still in my dress and Rob was in his tux :groom: princess: We always wanted to take a road trip and visit all the coasters in North America. Maybe one day :thumbsup2 :goodvibes

Wow is right. I tried to send the video to Elijah my grandson. He would love it. Boy is Cass talented to get that entire ride. Great job Cass. Diane

Thanks Di  I loved every second of it

Hello everyone...I am still at the office wrapping some things up from Sunday. I think I am kicking this cold! Zicam certainly has helped. I enjoyed those videos posted and reading trip reports. I am considering doing a live trip report again for the B.O.B. It's a long time until the cruise, but I just might. When i put the kids to sleep in the stateroom, it would give me something to do! If I brought my own laptop and got wireless, I could upload pics to the thread as well.

This will be the first trip in 3 years that I won't be doing a live report. I found it takes up too much time doing the report and pics. I would rather be relaxing on deck 4 in those comfy chairs and in the hot tub with my BOBer friends :cool1: I think Kira will be able to stay up later this time (heck she doesn't sleep now until 10pm!) so she will be in the club during our late supper and then we will pick her up from either OC or Flounders, depending on how potty training goes this summer and Rob can get some work done on the laptop while she sleeps and I hit the hot tub ::yes::

That's a great feeling.

Sure is!!! :goodvibes

Back in July I could "barely" button my size 38 jeans, today, I fit nicely into size 34 jeans. They were on sale for $9.00 each, so I bought two pair!!! :thumbsup2

Speaking of coasters...

I have a video posted on youtube that I took in 2005 at Islands of Adventure on the front row of Fire Dragon :cool1: It's not great quality because it's on youtube but it was taken with the same camera as the EE one. And Rob gets really rowdy on that ride :lmao:

I also have front row of Ice Dragon somewhere...I should go look for that...that's my fave coaster :cool1:

Kennywood Amusement Park outside of Pittsburgh has some of the greatest coasters around. They have 3 classic wooden coasters, one of which has been rated in the top 5 coasters forever it seems. There is also the Phantom's Revenge. I haven't ridden that, but rode its earlier incarnation called the Steel Phantom for the last time in 1998. At the time it was one of the fastest steepest coasters. It's second drop was 280 ft and the train was moving 80 mph at the base of the drop.

As far as coasters go, Kennywood has my favorites. The Thunderbolt, Racer and Jack Rabbit are always fun.

Just bought one 7-day WDW ticket for October using airmiles :cool1: Now I just need another 1700 airmiles to get the second ticket  :thumbsup2

Airmiles is a rewards card for those of you who don't know :smokin:

Kennywood is definitely on my list :thumbsup2 Most of the parks on my list are down east. The top of the list though is Cedar Point :thumbsup2 I sure hope Kira is a coaster junkie when she's older :teeth:

I never made it to Cedar Point. Elaine grew up in Ohio so I believe she has been there and rode on the Magnum XL-200.

The last mega coaster I have been on is Superman Ride of Steel at the former 6 Flags Darien Lake outside of Buffalo. That was a nice smooth coaster.

We might be planning a quick vacation this summer to Knoebels Park in Pennsylvania. The last time I went there I was probably 8. One of the highest ranked coasters is there, "Phoenix." Hopefully Samantha is tall enough to ride it with me. She is my little daredevil.

We have snow!
We have 26 inches on the ground and more on the way Tuesday. They say another foot or more:guilty::guilty::guilty::guilty::guilty:.
I need CC:beach::beach::beach:and Konk kollers

I did the fire and ice for the first time in 2007. One was ok the second made me a little queasy. I did love the hulk. Rock n Roller coaster is my favorite, I scream the whole way!!

I am rooting for Arizona- I love the Kurt Warner story.

Yuck it's 65 and sunny here:wave2:

We got up to 54* here today, but rain Monday night is supposed to change to snow by Tuesday morning. "Could" be a MAJOR snow event for us. It all depends on the track of the storm, 50 miles one way or another, could make a big difference in the total amount. :rolleyes2

Signing off for the night, see ya tomorrow.........:wave2:

I took a group of teens to WDW in 2001. One of the girls had never been on a roller coaster or any other wild ride. We convinced her to try Rock n Roller Coaster. When we got off it, she said, "Captain Chris, that was great let's go on it again!"

Another funny story from that trip...One of the guys we took was my age (28 at the time), but he was slightly mentally handicapped. He always wanted to ride the rides with me. He was significantly larger than me. I am a stick, he was pretty big. On Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, we rode together. If you know that ride, there is only one bar to share for both of the riders. It did not go my lap, so I kept feeling like I was going to fly out of the ride. I was a little uncomfortable with that feeling for the duration of the ride!
