They are good, maybe make one for his birthday? I did figure out that it is 4 pts a slice, thats a 13x9 cut into 12 slices. I don't put frosting on it. Although I was telling Sean that pineapple would be good in the yellow cake. Wonder how many more pts that would make it.


Recipe please.

I used the Pillsbury Reduced Sugar Devils Food cake mix. I added 2 egg whites and a can of diet root beer. That's it! It tastes delicious! http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/344452/pillsbury_reduced_sugar_cake_mix_review.html

The icing was 1 packet of Dream Whip, one package of Jello SF/FF pudding mix and 1.5 cups of skim milk (but you could use 1% or 2%). I needed to use the electric mixer on high for about 5 minutes to get the texture right.

All of the grass turns brown during winter and stops growing. In the spring it turns green again and resumes growing. I guess it is one of the miracles of nature. Scotts Turfbuilder does help as well!

I did notice in Maine that sometimes our grass did take more of a beating after a particularly bad winter. In Maine typically, you get snow in December and you don't see grass until April.

Boy, it's snowing like crazy here! The NWS has already revised the 'dusting' we were supposed to get to 2", so far. I think we got more that that already!

Hello to all of you I know and those I don't. As Kathy wrote previously, I don't always have the time to keep up with you all, but I will try to. You still probably won't find me posting all that much (you can see from my post count), but I will keep track as best as I can.
We are having another "dusting" here in southwestern CT. It's been snowing every few days lately. I am sure we won't catch up with the really North people, but it is a much snowier winter so far that we have had in a long time.
As Kathy wrote, we will be at the World at this time next week. Around this time we will be getting ready to go to the Hoop-de-doo Review. I haven't seen it in a long time, so I am looking forward to it!

That's what happened last night here. We ended up with about 4 inches. I am wondering if it is heading here. It does look awfully dreary out...a lot like snow.

I am going to see Gran Torino tonight. I hope there isn't a few inches of snow when I come out of the theater!

I am in SE CT and have lived here 4 years and this is the snowiest winter. I have used my snowblower more this year than in the previous 3 years total.

I just made a Pillsbury 50% Less Sugar (they use Splenda) devils food cake with diet root beer. I used 2 egg whites, per Jen, and it came out great! I also made the Dream Whip icing with Jello FF/SF pudding. That came out excellent too!

I would love to know that WW points for this one! I think Mack would eat it.
