Nice to meet you guys! Chris tells me he checks the boards each day, but I do not see any posts:confused3

His mom is good the last I heard. Thanks for asking.

Well lets just see when Goofy$Ever is on the boards next. I bet it will be at least a week or two. And she talks about me? Haha. I was neglecting my duty to keep up. I had about onehundred and ninety pages to catch up on. That was my new years resolution. To post more on the DIS. So after many hours this weekend, I am now all caight up on my reading. I think I have a few more replies to do. I could have multiquoted, but I need to get some more posts. I am hoping to get more than fifteen posts this round. Lol.

welcome aboard.:woohoo:
i'm mike aka underdog and my lovely bride robin aka tart annihilator will be celebrating 34 years of wedded bliss on this cruise.
tell firefighter chris to post more often. we need more dudes around here.
:cool2: :cool2:

I am sorry Underdog. I will be posting more often. I promise. Add me to the "dudes posting" group on here. Lol.

Hello Everyone -

Just thought I would introduce myself. My name is Lisa and my family (all 14 of us) will be sailing with all you Bobers. You guys have already met my cousin Firefighter Chris. My family consists of myself, Lisa (35), my better-half, Quincy (not a poster & don't understand the whole idea??), son, John & step-son, Tyrin (both 14 at time of sailing.) Also joing us are a few new sailors...my grandma (84) and my uncle as well as experienced sailors, my parents, my two brothers, and another uncle....plus Chris and his family.

I do not know how much time I will have to post as I work full-time and go to school part-time. Nights are pretty busy, but I will try my hardest to keep up ;) . I am very excited for this much needed trip!

Lisa

Welcome Lisa and Family from Walt and Di from San Antonio, TX.

OK, I guess you don't look anything like the mystery woman in the other pic. My bad. :flower3:

Great pics though, especially formal night. Very nice. :thumbsup2

Pictures of me? I stay out of photos as much as possible. I like being the photographer instead. Unless I find a small child (ummm, make that a "Smedium" child) to stick in front of me, I try to stay out of them.

I'll try to find a "better than nothing" wedding photo from the kids after my computer geek leaves tonight. Deal?:thumbsup2

Double Ditto. Great pictures Mimi. Di

Welcome! :dance3:

Thank you!!

I had to twist her arm a bit due to some health problems and her being pretty much wheelchair bound. But now she is looking forward to going.
I am taking her to see the Magic when I visit at the end of the month. Can't wait to see her surprise in how big the ship is

Thanks for the huge welcome!!

Welocome! It is just me (leisha) and DH (Tom) going. This is a great group. We took my DMIL two years ago on the Magic. She is also wheel chair bound and she had a great time. The crew went out of their way for her and made that trip very special. The handicap rooms are very nice if you can get one of those for her.

Just a few more before I head off to bed

We took the train round to give my feet a rest

Wow fantastic pictures Karen. I really enjoyed. I have been reading for 3 hours. still have 30 pages to read. I have a few errands to run today. Then be at Grandkids house for when the bus arrives. They did not want to go to school today. Then off to gymnastics with Asiah. Tonite I will catch up. I don't like to miss anything so I am reading the 100 pages I missed while in Louisiana. Diane

Liv's hair -

And from the front - she hates this picture. She said this dress made her look 12 and her hair up made her look 10. I think she is so funny! She does look young in it, but not that young.

That is a great picture. She does look young there but very beautiful. How old is your daughter Mimi? Diane

Ok, gang….I need some help thinking through my post-cruise travel plans.

I am debating whether or not to stay overnight after the cruise on the 31st and do MNSSHP. I kind of need to figure it out soon to watch for flights.

The pro’s:

-Obviously, getting to do MNSSHP, riding all the rides, seeing the park all decorated, fireworks, etc.

The con’s:

-Logistics-I am planning to reserve ground transportation to and from port for the whole family (all 10-11 of us) and if they do not want to stay the extra night I need to figure out additional transportation to the “world”.

-If the rest of the family DOES want to stay, I will have to coordinate that part of the trip for everyone also, arrange for tickets, book hotels, and so forth.

-This would be Thomas’s first time seeing the Magic Kingdom – and it would be fairly late in the day. Would it be too overwhelming? I am worried he’d be too tired or overexcited to enjoy it.

Any thoughts?
If you can make it work logistically, I say do it. We made that decision a few months ago and are really looking forward to MNSSHP. My parents haven't been to WDW since 1996, and my kids have only been once 4 years ago. DS was not quite 3. We planned to go just before his third birthday to save some $$$. They are really looking forward to it!

We are most likely staying in one of the values. I think our initial plan is to take our time getting to WDW from PC, eat at Downtown Disney, rest/swim at hotel, then head to MNSSHP around 4:00.

I am looking for a late morning return flight to one of the New England Airports. If I can't get that, I may just have to stay another day at WDW!

I hope that we will all be able to do a quick B.O.B Meet at the MNSSHP. It would be great to get a group picture with everyone that is staying on for the party. Sort of the icing on the cake!

With being back on land and having working cell phones this shouldn't be a problem.

Well now, that's a rude awakening!!!

I was supposed to wake up at 5am and must have shut my alarm off in my sleep. :sad2: I didn't get out of bed until nearly 7am and I'm supposed to start work at 6am!!!! :guilty:

   Eek, that's not good. I should have called you when I got up at 5 this morning Mel.........:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

I am having a heckuva a time getting motivated at work today! 10 days off and tomorrow we leave for our annual officer's retreat in Sturbridge, MA. It is just so hard to work, but things need done, so I am gradually getting them done! Also, the kids having a delay slowed the start of the day as well.

Whew, caught up, took most of my lunchtime too. Good thing I only have a Slim Fast shake for lunch!!! :rotfl2:
