I got a Disney Classic Collectibles...Cinderella's "Thank you so Much",a DCL watch and a framed pic from our trip in Oct. of Mike proposing to me in front of the castle.

We knew about the picture. Mike actually posted it on the thread and we were wondering how he was going to keep it a secret from you... Hang onto that DCL watch - when we were on the Wonder in Sept. they told us they aren't carrying them anymore. Or did we get a misinformed CM :confused3

When I get home from work, I have a habit of greeting the dog before I greet Mike. OOPS! :scared:

And the problem with that would be??? :rotfl: We had a dog that insisted on greeting everyone the minute they came through the door, so no one else ever got a chance :)

Trixie Pancake, cub reporter, here again and you're not going to BELIEVE what I saw today! For those of you who don't know me that well, I have a black belt in shopping, and the shoes to match. So, when I say this is a big deal, you gotta believe me! :yay:

I stopped in Mouse Gears, one of my favorite Disney stores, just to 'look around' :lmao: But much to my astonishment, Disney was having a SALE! Yes, a SALE, the weekend before CHristmas! And not just a few little trinkets, all Christmas hats and certain jewelry and watches were 50% off (that's fifty percent off)! Tshirts (all tshirts, even a fancy purple tshirt with velvet piping and a satin embroidered Mickey) and Christmas ornaments were 40% off. Yes, you heard right! I have never seen anything like this before.

OK, so after seeing this unbelievable sign, I couldn't let this opportunity pass me by (people were approaching the sign with awe, their mouths hanging open in disbelief, reading to the bottom to see if there was any 'fine print') Of course, there was 'fine print' but it wasn't so bad. It just said that the discount couldn't be combined with any other discount. OK, I can live with that.

Since I've finished all my Christmas shopping for everyone else, there was only one person left to shop for - me! So I got me the above mentioned t-shirt (did I mention it was 40% off?) and a Mickey Mouse watch (you can never have too many) with 9 interchangable Holiday bands (Pink & Blue Christmas, Halloween, Valentines, Easter, Thanksgiving, St. Pat's, and a Red, White and Blue one suitable for Patriotic Holidays, plus a plain old black one for going to work, which isn't a holiday :sad2: ). Did I mention the watch was 50% off!!!

Oh boy, what a day!!!:yay:

Congrats on the great SALE Kathy!!!! :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Thanks for the video links Steve, I'm going to check them out shortly!!! ;)

We had a great time at the Christmas Party we went to last evening. The food was fabulous. I have a few slivers of pumpkin pie and a death by chocolate cake, but all in all I did quite well and was a good boy.

The only problem I had was getting out of the car and trying to carry 3 gallons of Arizona Diet Green Tea from the car to the house. One of the containers slipped out of my hands, hit the street, and exploded.

The evening ended with everyone around the piano singing Christmas carols. We left around 10:30 and dropped Lina off at her friend Jenna's house where she spent the night. This is Jenna's first Christmas with out here dad and she is having a rough go of it. I'm so proud of Lina as she is right by Jenna's side helping her get through the holidays.

This sleet and freezing rain is supposed to change to all rain later on this morning, so I think I will hold off going to the gym until the change happens.

We have a Christmas musical show to attend tonight at 7:00pm, by then, the storm will be over with!!! :thumbsup2

ETA: Holiday Week FO

Great job on the light display Steve!!! :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

My favorite was the Miser Brother video clip. ;) ;) ;) It's a shame one of the videos was removed from YouTube....:guilty:

Sorry about the weather Andy, but it makes me really glad that I headed down here yesterday instead of today, as originally planned! Looks like the BOBer meet saved me from a lengthy stay at Newark Airport!

b/t/w not to rub it in or anything, but the weather here in Orlando today is gorgeous, 70's and sunny! :yay:

Kathy- congrats on the sale- very unusual for Disney.

Glad to see yo made it and are having a great time.

Yes, I was totally floored by the sale!

Thanks to you and all the other BOBers for sending all the pixie dust pixiedust: that got my plane off the ground and here to Orlando safely! I'm pretty sure I saw Tinkerbell, through the window of the plane, sprinkling pixie dust while the plane was being de-iced! :tinker: Of course, I supplied the happy thoughts - I hope everyone appreciated that!

So just popping in and saying Hi this AM.
My shopping is almost done, but I'm so WAY over budget I could almost have booked the cruise for what I've charged this past month:eek: :sad2:
Cards are written.
Tree has been up for 2 weeks but still not decorated.
No cookies have been baked-doing some today
No presents have been wrapped-doing that today also.
Snow keeps falling and having to go out and shovel again with my bad back, although my son is home and helping me.
Work has been bad, mostly due to problems with co-workers who were making up their own overtime (and I'm on the list and not being asked) and then when I made a stink about it they now are harrasing me at work:sad2:
So work is rather unpleasant now and also very busy.

I'm just feeling so overspent, overwhelmed... you name it, I'm not getting this
Christmas thing at all, but trying to get through it.

Not to mention since Bob switched jobs in the Postal Service he's now at the bottom of the list again and has to work Christmas and New Year's eve too.

So, that's why I'm not on so much. But am trying to catch up.

Love you guys! I really do!:grouphug:
