10/24/2009 Bash On the Boat (I'm with B.O.B.) - Thread #16

Hazel and I went to the mall for a little bit, it was wicked crazy there. Had to park in the overflow parking lot, took like 5 minutes to walk from our car to get to the mall entrance. I bought myself a 14 kt. 20" gold chain that was on sale for 50% off. My other gold chain broke, so I kind of lucked out getting it now with the 50% off sale, plus I also received a $25.00 coupon that can be used from 1/2/09-1/12/09. Hazel is looking for a Mother's ring, so I think I might use the coupon to get her that for her birthday and surprise her with it....

We grabbed a lite bite of lunch at Friendly's, then headed home. The parking lot and traffic was worse by the time we got to leave. I snuck through the AMC parking lot and saved myself about 10-15 minutes......

Down another pound this week, 37 total lost to date, and down to 190 for the first time since 1998!!!

Since I missed two workouts this week because of the head cold, I really pushed myself this morning to help make up for it burning off 1500 calories today.

Sitting here now enjoying a nice tossed salad with low fat dressing.

Good job Andy. After the Holidays I have to get back at it . Before Nancy and I went on the Members Cruise in Sept I weighed 210 I got as low as 205. Those cruises will do you in.
The Doc said he would like to see me at 200. I don't know how tall you are Andy but im 6'2''. At present I weigh 215. All three of our boys are big they all weigh over 200+. Thats me with the ball cap

As you can see they come big in our family.
The funny part Andy Nancy is only 5'2"

Good job Andy. After the Holidays I have to get back at it . Before Nancy and I went on the Members Cruise in Sept I weighed 210 I got as low as 205. Those cruises will do you in.
The Doc said he would like to see me at 200. I don't know how tall you are Andy but im 6'2''. At present I weigh 215. All three of our boys are big they all weigh over 200+. Thats me with the ball cap

As you can see they come big in our family.
The funny part Andy Nancy is only 5'2"

Trixie Pancake, cub reporter, bringing you the scoop on today's EPCOT DISMeet!

I, being the last to arrive, due to unforeseen circumstances let's just say HERTZ truly lived up to their name today, perhaps they should just change their name to PAINFUL so it's even more descriptive, was greeted by Mimi and Karen wildly waving their arms to get my somewhat distracted attention. (whew, talk about a run on sentence!) I also was met by Cheryl and her daughter Rachel and was informed that the men were holding down a table for us. Inside was TikiMack, Al and Neil & Ellis, who is just cute as a little button. Mimi asked Ellis what was he was looking forward to most on the cruise and he said playing with Logan! Mimi made us little tree ornaments with the BASH logo on them and Karen brought Christmas cards for all. My contribution was Godiva chocolate Santas, which Ellis seemed to really enjoy. Many pictures were taken, unfortunately, none by me, since I was lucky just to get myself there, much less the camera. So you will have to wait until someone else posts! Mimi managed to track down an adorable French CM ooo la la! who told us we had to say 'fromage' instead of 'cheese' since we were in France I just hope he waited until we got to the end of the word and not when we were all saying 'fro' because that would look pretty silly. However, that should be soon, since we are all afraid on getting on Nancy's bad side . I'm so glad that I was able to make it and I can't wait to see everyone again in October!!!

Unfortunately, Paige & Mel and their families were not able to make it.

Trixie Pancake, cub reporter, here again and you're not going to BELIEVE what I saw today! For those of you who don't know me that well, I have a black belt in shopping, and the shoes to match. So, when I say this is a big deal, you gotta believe me!

I stopped in Mouse Gears, one of my favorite Disney stores, just to 'look around' But much to my astonishment, Disney was having a SALE! Yes, a SALE, the weekend before CHristmas! And not just a few little trinkets, all Christmas hats and certain jewelry and watches were 50% off (that's fifty percent off)! Tshirts (all tshirts, even a fancy purple tshirt with velvet piping and a satin embroidered Mickey) and Christmas ornaments were 40% off. Yes, you heard right! I have never seen anything like this before.

OK, so after seeing this unbelievable sign, I couldn't let this opportunity pass me by (people were approaching the sign with awe, their mouths hanging open in disbelief, reading to the bottom to see if there was any 'fine print') Of course, there was 'fine print' but it wasn't so bad. It just said that the discount couldn't be combined with any other discount. OK, I can live with that.

Since I've finished all my Christmas shopping for everyone else, there was only one person left to shop for - me! So I got me the above mentioned t-shirt (did I mention it was 40% off?) and a Mickey Mouse watch (you can never have too many) with 9 interchangable Holiday bands (Pink & Blue Christmas, Halloween, Valentines, Easter, Thanksgiving, St. Pat's, and a Red, White and Blue one suitable for Patriotic Holidays, plus a plain old black one for going to work, which isn't a holiday ). Did I mention the watch was 50% off!!!

Oh boy, what a day!!!
