I think Amanda & Annette did that too. Everyone is welcome to take turns using my balcony (although I don't think it's high enough to push Big Red off - I think you guys should stick with the plan of drowning her in the hot tub :rolleyes1 )

I think Mike brought up the fact that she floats, so we may need that verandah after all :goodvibes

So, I just sent an e-mail off to Dreams inquiring about downgrading our Cat 7 to a Cat 12 room for the BOB cruise.

We are cutting all our costs so that we can actually go on vacation next year. :rolleyes1

I will miss that verandah but at least we will still be able to cruise with you fine folks

As long as you still cruise with us.

We did the same thing. It saved us over $1200. I figure that we only need the stateroom to sleep and change in.

For those who have cruised this time of year before- are there a lot of kids on this cruise? It's not that I don't like kids, but on the Member cruises, it is mostly adults w/o kids.

There are quite a few kids but if you avoid deck 5 and the character signings, you will hardly notice them.;)

I don't mind the inside room, we've done it before...just worried about the space issue with a full size stroller, car seat, play pen, etc. :scared: But yes, it saves us $1100 so that helps :thumbsup2

That's what Rick and I think. We stick to cat 11, and after the last cruise we try for a sideways cabins, as they seem a bit bigger and only sleep 3.

That's true! :lmao: It might be quite a struggle to keep her head under water long enough, with those built-in flotation devices fighting to get to the surface :rolleyes1

Last time we managed to snag a SPH room. In 2006 there was only a $50 difference between a 10 & 11 so we went with the 10. This time it is about $300, so we are sticking to the 11. I don't mind a whole lot. I just want to get on the ship. I would sleep in the engine room!

Not me. Chewy is the way to go!

LOL, not sure if my oars would fit in my luggage ;) Maybe us BOBers will be lucky and get upgraded :teeth:

Well, I would have booked a sideways cat 11, like Heather was saying, but it's an extra $400 for the Cat 11!

Think I will go with the 12 and pray that Mickey grants us an upgrade :goodvibes :earboy2:

Rumor is that if you have 4 people in your cat 12, you automatically get upgraded since those cabins only sleep 3. I'm wishing everyone upgrades :wizard:

Hi everyone  just checking in quick to subscribe to the new thread.

I just got home from my last day of work for almost 2 weeks :woohoo: We are supposed to fly out Friday morning for our trip to WDW but now they are forecasting a major snowstorm here for Thur. night into Fri. morning. Send some pixie dust our way that we can get out of here on Fri.! We're looking forward to seeing everyone that will be meeting at EPCOT on Sat.!

We're joining the party on deck 2 also to save some money. About 2 weeks ago I had Dreams switch us from our Cat 6 to a Cat 9 on deck 2. I'll miss the veranda too but I'd rather be on the Magic without a veranda than not on the Magic at all! I'm just not sure I could go without the porthole so that's why we went with the Cat 9, I also think we need the split bathroom with 3 women in the cabin getting ready for dinner at the same time :rolleyes1

I'm not sure when Cheryl flies down but hopefully it's between all these crazy snowstorms Wisconsin is getting.

We got 3-7" last night, predicted 8-12" on Friday, and another snowstorm this Sunday!! :scared1:

Sending Cheryl and family some extra "Dust Stuff"! :pixiedust:

Thanks Nancy! I think we're going to need lots of the Dust Stuff to get us out of here :sad2: We are scheduled to fly out at 9:20 Fri. morning. If the weather is as bad as they are predicting I hope that our flight is just delayed and we can fly out a little late, I am hoping they don't cancel it completely and then we have to battle everyone else to get rebooked for Sat.

Stay safe Cheryl and co:goodvibes

Thanks Karen, I think I missed you but in case you peek in here again safe travels to you and your family too! Hopefully we'll get down there in time for the meet at EPCOT on Sat.

Safe travels to everyone else traveling doen this weekend!
