Time to get ready to head to the gym, then come home and get ready for church, see y'all later.........:wave2:

DS had his braces for a long time also. They first had to make room then straighten. We started in 4th grade and they came off in 8th.

Andy- great pictures keep it up.

Chris- how fun. It must be hard in the snow.

Here are some pictures from wdw last week end.

Oh no! Don't apologize!!!! I think we should all have one of those dolls! I swear they know exactly what to say to just press your buttons!!!!!

OK, Sorry, rant over, I just had to let off some steam.

I'm now off to make a voodoo doll with Moms face attached and stick a million pins in it:rolleyes1

Hi WDW Christmas travelers! Weather in Orlando is looking pretty nice so far! Check it out!

We leave on Tuesday night to stay by the PHL airport and our Airtran flight leaves at 7am from PHL on Wednesday! Can't wait! Got our Garden Grocer order placed yesterday, car rental made earlier this week. Still have some odds and ends Christmas shopping to do today and then wrap those. Need to bake one or two more batches of Christmas cookies between today and tomorrow and START PACKING!!! :santa:

I might have a blog set up while I'm away. Not sure yet, since I also have to find time to teach two online classes while I'm gone. So my computer time might be eaten up with that. But we will see!

Got this in a email:
These are my responses.... don't know if this will all fit on here but here's a try.

Welcome to the Christmas edition of getting to know your family and friends. Okay, here's what you're supposed to do, and try not to be a SCROOGE!!! Just copy (not forward) this entire email and paste into a new e-mail that you can send. Change all the answers so that they apply to you. Then send this to a whole bunch of people you know, INCLUDING the person that sent it to you......Tis the Season to be
NICE!

1. Wrapping paper or gift bags? Both - Gift bags are used only for several small things to one person or hard to wrap items. I have an extensive Cristmas wrapping paper collection because I do not duplicate - I use a different paper for each present so there's lots of variety under the tree.

2. Real tree or Artificial? Artificial - the only argument I ever truly lost before getting married. I have come to accept it mainly due to our cats.

3. When do you put up the tree? Middle of December - I don't like it to sit too long without prezzies underneath!

4. When do you take the tree down? After New Year's or when we're done having Christmas gatherings - usually we have 4 or so "gatherings".

5. Do you like eggnog? YES! Without alcohol, or in McD's egnog milkshakes!

6. Favorite gift received as a child? A dollhouse - it's 4 feet tall - my dad made it for my Barbie dolls - it was much roomier than the ones you could buy.

7. Hardest person to buy for? Pete's Uncle Bill

8. Easiest person to buy for? DS Thomas - he loves everything!

9. Do you have a nativity scene? Yes

10. Mail or email Christmas cards? Mail - but i may not make it this year....

11. Worst Christmas gift you ever received? My grandmother's underwear (mis-labelled package, but I was SO embarrassed!!!)

12. Favorite Christmas Movie? This is a toss-up, Charlie Brown's Christmas or Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer (the old one narrated by Burl Ives)

13. When do you start shopping for Christmas? I never stop!!! I buy stuff all year and stash it.

14. Have you ever recycled a Christmas present? Nope, but I have given away things I don't like or use.

15. Favorite thing to eat at Christmas? Frosted sugar cookies

16. Lights on the tree? Yes non blinking :)

17. Favorite Christmas song? O Holy Night (but only if sung properly)

18. Travel at Christmas or stay home? Depends on the year....negotiations for where we are for Christmas usually start in September! This year we're really travelling!

19. Can you name all of Santa's reindeer's? Yes

20. Angel on the tree top or a star? Crocheted angel - bought before we were married and will go on the tree every year until it disintegrates :)

21. Open presents on Christmas Eve or morning? Yes! Usually a couple on Christmas Eve if we're home, or if we're gathering with Pete's family. Presents from us and SC on Christmas morning.

22. Most annoying thing about this time of the year? Christmas music that's not really Christmas music (think Mariah Carey singing "All I want for Christmas is you...)

23. Favorite Ornament theme or color? I don't really have a theme or color....most of our ornaments have been gifts, picked out and given with love. DH's family keeps Hallmark in business buying ornaments!

24. Favorite for Christmas dinner? Mom's prime rib

25. What do you want for Christmas this year? Disneyland souvenirs!!!!!

I took out the last 2 questions :)

Ok, just a couple more...

DS had his "winter sing" at school last week:

It was great - they did about 8 songs, and it was really cute. DS was such a ham!

Well, better go - today is laundry, packing, and we are letting Thomas open his gifts from us so we don't have to lug them to AZ and back.
