Good morning all

The wedding went off without a hitch and I'll be posting pictures later. But first things first....

Please include our friend Paige in your thoughts and prayers today. I've been given permission from Paige herself to let you all know that on Saturday she was taken to the hospital because she became ill. After a few tests and an MRI later they found a tumor NEXT to her brain. It is 99% sure that it is malignant and quite operable. Hopefully, she'll be able to have the surgery tomorrow. If not, she'll have to wait until next week sometime.

Rob will keep us updated on Paige's progress.

I am so sorry you are having to endure PT. I have done my share of stints there, an while it does seem to help, it interrupted my day and was not always the most pleasant thing to do.

And you are so right about having a job! I was coming back from an appointment this morning thinking how much I wished it weren't raining, and I remembered whata drought we have had and was thankful. I saw gas this morning for $1.65 and remembered that just two months ago when we got off our last cruise, IF we could find gas to buy, it was $4.59. Again I was thankful! Then of course, I was grading the last couple of papers thinking I had really wanted to be done yesterday, and wasn't this awful that I had to do so much work on vacation - and of course, I was immediately thankful I had a job! I am thinking things may get worse before they get better, so I am just going to decide to count my blessings!

You are so right. After reading about Paige, everything seems small in comparison.

Kids are healthy and doing well. DH and I are employed -for now-. We also have great friends locally and dissers. So I will also count my blessings and try not to complain to much about my job.

The shoe game: The single bridesmaids signed the shoe on Kristin's left and the married bridesmaids signed the one on her right. Whichever name was worn out first would be the next girl to get married (left) or have a baby (right).

Amy is the next to be married and Nico is the next to have a baby.

I love the choice of colored flowers for the bride, with the white flowers with pink highlights for the bridesmaids. The cake looks gorgeous (did it taste as good as it looks?)
