Ok, heres a few photos of my tree this year, a couple of people wanted photos

Its ok,... not as good as usual, because its my skinny tree and half the size of my normal one.

I still have about 5 large boxes of ornaments and theres no room on my tree

I photographed it with the lights switched off as they were too "dazzly" for the focus

i still say, with the way she's dressed, tink wants to be like bigred when she grows up. (and thats not bad)

Good morning everyone. It's actually going to hit 40 degrees here today for the first time in about a week. I hope that I can finally get my leaves wrapped up. There are only a little bit that has blown against the fence, so it shouldn't take too long today.

I just hope my tractor's battery isn't dead from the week of bitter cold!

The wedding went off without a hitch and I'll be posting pictures later. But first things first....

Please include our friend Paige in your thoughts and prayers today. I've been given permission from Paige herself to let you all know that on Saturday she was taken to the hospital because she became ill. After a few tests and an MRI later they found a tumor NEXT to her brain. It is 99% sure that it is NON malignant and quite operable. Hopefully, she'll be able to have the surgery tomorrow. If not, she'll have to wait until next week sometime.

Rob will keep us updated on Paige's progress.

Have a good day everyone ... I'm off to PT and then a truly terrible day at work. But at least I still have a job to go to.

I am so sorry you are having to endure PT. I have done my share of stints there, an while it does seem to help, it interrupted my day and was not always the most pleasant thing to do.

And you are so right about having a job! I was coming back from an appointment this morning thinking how much I wished it weren't raining, and I remembered whata drought we have had and was thankful. I saw gas this morning for $1.65 and remembered that just two months ago when we got off our last cruise, IF we could find gas to buy, it was $4.59. Again I was thankful! Then of course, I was grading the last couple of papers thinking I had really wanted to be done yesterday, and wasn't this awful that I had to do so much work on vacation - and of course, I was immediately thankful I had a job! I am thinking things may get worse before they get better, so I am just going to decide to count my blessings!
