Happy Cooking everyone!
Chat with you all later!

This Thanksgiving I'm thankful that Paige is going to be ok:thumbsup2

Oh now see - htis picture needs to be on the "I'm with B.O.B. page" - youa re going, right?????

Joanne - Sounds like you have a happy house full! I am hoping ds has some friends over while he is home - trivial pursuit, Taboo, X-box - fun!

All this talk of food is making me hungry! Since my parents moved to Florida, Frank and I go out for Thanksgiving dinner (we do Christmas with them). I love eating out because I don't have to eat turkey!

We do have a slight change of plans this year - Frank & I usually get up early and do the Black Friday shopping thing. But he called yesterday to say that someone he had been visiting and bringing Communion to died yesterday and the family asked him to say the funeral. It's at 11 AM on Friday, so we'll have to find something else to do with the rest of the day. I think maybe we'll go see Bolt (3-D of course) instead.

I LOVE my cranberry recipe!
made with real whole cranberries, sugar, orange peel, cinnamon and red wine!

It is soooooo good!
My friends love it! Given out the recipe a bunch of times

Unfortunately my boyfriend and son don't like it very much at all.
So I'm making it just for ME!:cloud9:
Bob would rather eat the stuff from the can:headache: Now, that's just wrong!

Me too. My mom makes homemade orange-cranberry relish too. It is sugar free now that most people can't eat sugar in my family. Everyone loves it. I have not had it in many years. Maybe now I would like it. Someday I will get to have it again. Di

Here's my family, on my Mom's birthday last year, at Rowena Crest in Oregon:

Nothing bizarre?!?!?! My mother used to make some kind of oyster stuffing - yuck. She would make regular cornbread stuffing for us kiddos too, but she loved the oyster, and it had all kinds of things in it.

I am making oyster stuffing in the oven for my girls and I. I will stuff the turkey with cornbread stuffing for Walt and Heather. I can't remember if Heather likes oyster stuffing. My girls told me it would not be Thanksgiving if we didn't have oyster stuffing. Di

EEEWWW Mince Meat:eek:

My dad likes mince meat pie. My mother makes it for him every year for Christmas and Thanksgiving. I have never eaten it. I always thought of it for old people. My grandmother ate it all the time for Thanksgiving. I guess I should try it now that I am old. Ha Ha. Maybe not since I see it has alot of points (WW) or calories. Di

Kathy is it just you and your brother Frank?
He's a priest, correct?
Do you have any children? I mean besides your sweet furry ones:cat: (those are my other kids too!)

Well I have caught up and now I need to do a few things around the house. Walt will be home at noon. I am kid-free today. Elijah is volunteering at the doggie day care this morning. Asiah went to work with her mother. So I better get to work. Talk to you all later. Diane

Again!

Happy Thanksgiving to Everyone. Walt and Diane

I thought Walt says he cooks for Thanksgiving?

I thought this way too! Only my grandmother ate yucky things like mincemeat and cow tongue, tripe and headcheese:scared:

Don't care if I'm getting older, still not going to eat it. EVER!

Got my Starbucks!:thumbsup2

Holy cow was Dunkin Donuts drive thru line backed up when I drove past!

So now I'm off to start my cooking!

Yes, just me and my brother, the Father (needless to say, he doesn't have any kids either!)

Nice photo Kathy!
How old are your parents?

My Mom just turned 77 and my Dad is 76.
