No nuts on anything in our house:scared: :scared1:

Maybe its just Wisconsin that dont have them then:confused3 ... they just have all the money trees instead:rotfl2:
I went to grade school with a girl whose family was quite wealthy. At Christmas time, they had poinsettieas made of money - literally - sitting all around their home. :rotfl: If I had that much money, I think I could have found better things to do with it.

Have a fantastic day everyone! I am off to test my 9th grade on Romeo and Juliet and listen to my 8th grade's short stories on Sean's picture of the deer in the kitchen!

Hi Mimi
Do let us know if you get any funny stories about the picture. It will be interesting to read.:thumbsup2

This is only the second time that I've followed the show, but I've never seen a less likable more whiny group of people. I do like Michelle now that she's toughened up a bit but my gawd ... I just want to reach through the television and smack those people around.

And as for Vicky ... ugh, don't get me started. She's the unhappiest person I've ever seen (other than Jay's sister and that's a conversation for another week) and perhaps one of the most unpleasant as well.

Here's what I say about the lot:

PFFFFFFFFTTTTTT!!!

And I ditto that great big PFFFFT!!! :rotfl2:

Oh I'm sure we have them too Karen, I just didn't recognize them. My uncle used the cardboard from used up toilet paper rolls, stuffed them with little things and then wrapped them up in tissue paper with ribbons on each end. Our crackers were just smaller, that's all. I don't remember calling them Christmas Crackers though. I'm sure we just have another name for them. :)

Have a nice Wednesday all, time to get ready for a wet, warmer, workday here..........:wave2:

Nancy ... just so you know ... I voted for the person who didn't want to be voted for ... as many times as possible just to be contrary. I thought the other person was incredibly selfish and the more I listened and watched the more miffed I got.

So now Jay has cast ten votes for that person ... and even our cat has cast ten votes ... Pete has his own email address, how's that for feline advancement? :lmao:

I did too but you know it'll come back next week as: "Thank you America, you did exactly what we were hoping for". Reverse phsycology (sp?).:scared1:

Got more good news this afternoon. By switching from our AmeriHealth HMO insurance carrier to the township health insurance provider we can keep Lina on our policy until age 23 and she will be fully covered, as long as she still lives with us and remains unmarried. This is a "BIG" load off my mind. The township has open enrollment in April so I will be getting the paperwork ready before then.

I was going to have to switch to this plan before I retired anyhow, so I figured we might as well make the switch this coming April.

Some of the coverages change, but all in all, it will work out better for us!!! :goodvibes

That's a great deal. Ourw were only cover util 23 if they were a full time student. Had to pick up a policy for ds # 1 for 6 months between school and work. Wasted $300.00 but if something had happened......

Hi everyone

Just a quick drive by post. I have a snow day today  we are in the midst of a storm that started out as sleet and freezing rain and then changed to snow. I wasn't far from home this morning when my boss called me and said I could stay home and not have to drive all the way in in the snow :thumbsup2 She said I could work on the staff schedule for Jan. and start entering it in the computer from home, seeing how I have been working a lot of extra days lately she said to then enjoy the rest of the day off :thumbsup2

I'm still working on making some Christmas presents and cards and decorating and cleaning the house for the holidays. We come home from WDW on the 28th and then we are having my brothers and sisters and their families over for our family Christmas celebration on New Years Day, I must be crazy having 23 people over shortly after coming home from vacation. Rachel and Al will help get ready for that but I want to have as much done as possible before we leave next week Fri. so that hasn't left much time at all for DISing.

Hugs :grouphug: :grouphug:, prayers and pixiedust: pixiedust: to those that need them and sorry if I've missed anyones birthday or anniversary.

I could so use a snow day!!!!

Good morning all,

Rainy stormy day here. Got some decorating done last night. Not all but getting there.

Have a good one all.

Hi all....just a quick drive by posting....

Anyone started looking at airfares for BOB yet? So far, I don't like what I see....

That's what it would have been if we stayed with AmeriHealth HMO, by switching to the other township policy Lina gets to be covered until 23 "without" being a fulltime student. Like I said, coverages in same areas are a little different, but not that much of a change, and we keep the same doctors we are using now!!!!! :thumbsup2

OK, back to work for me........:wave2:

Good morning peeps:goodvibes

Another cold and frosty morning here:cold:

Have a great day everybody.

Wow!!! It is really cold here too. At my daughter's house there was snow/sleet/frost on the ground/cars. She lives closer to the hill country. All the cars needed to be defrosted. I only live 8 miles away and it was not that way here. Not one bit of frost. I woke up late this morning. I had to rush. I had promised Elijah my grandson a chicken sandwich for breakfast from Macdonald's today for his 11th birthday. I can't believe he is 11 years old. How time fly when you having fun!!! I made it to Macdonald's in time to get it for him. Asiah put candles on his sandwich and we sang to him. He was very happy. Then I drove them to school. We listened to Christmas music the entire way. They usually ride the bus so this was a treat too. My daughter left dogs in the house. Hope they behave!!! No walk for them and it's too cold for them to stay outside. Now I have to do errands and go to my annual dentist appt. Not my favorite thing. I love my dental hygenist but I don't like anyone messing with my teeth. Bah Humbug!!! Then I have to run get Krispy Kreme donuts for Elijah to share with his class and then also get his and Asiah's lunch. He requested Chic-fil-Lait. (sp) You know I spoiled my grandkids so much. I will be running crazy. I haven't even got his present yet. He wants a remote control helicopter but they all look so cheap. I don't want to buy something for him and it break the first day. Well, I just finished my cup of coffee and muffin so I need to take a shower and get ready to leave. Talk to you all later. Diane
