Suz feeling better?
Janice
6 wks, that's a long time...
Evening. Mark or Janice?
Haven't played in a while. DS is grounded from the Wii and his computer for 6 weeks. He is done on the 21st of this month.
While I do follow your number logic, there is another part of DVC ownership which you do not take into account: discounts and special offers. For instance, you can save nearly $100 on an annual pass, free valet parking at DVC resorts, free parking at the parks, discounts on special events like MNSSHP & MVMCP (yes, only for certain nights, but it's usually $10/ticket), 15% on backstage tours, 10% discount @ World of Disney, car rental discounts, restaurant discounts, 'pool hopping privileges (except for Stormalong Bay and AKL pool) and my personal favorite: SPA discounts!!! etc. etc. Plus random special events: Expedition Everest had a Sneak Peak weekend that was only offered to DVC & AP holders.
Just another thing to consider about ownership...
Tough lesson to learnThe punishment was greater because he lied to us instead of us and we had to find out what he did. We always tell him it will be a lot less if he always comes to us first.
Didn't you get Sports with the game unit? I thought that was standard.
You'd have bowling, boxing, golf, baseball, and tennis with that.
Ask Mark (Janice's DH) and Chuck (Nancy - MG's - DH) how they like it.![]()
Janice's DS and I took those two on. I don't think they even one a single game.
Paige, how was the anniversary dinner?
Been practicing Tennis lately Jeff?
Can't go wrong with the priceIt was good. I had chicken parm and Rob had calzone. You know, you can't beat gift certificates in this economy. After dinner, we went to Borders and had coffee (another gift card I had.)![]()

I cant believe that my wife would bring this up to Jeff. The guy kicks by butt in Wii and she brings it back up to him....Thanks dear...

I bet your DW would love a massage...As I said, no where am I disputing the benefits of DVC. I can argue the points both ways.
But as for the benefits, would never need an annual pass (maybe use 4 days on my tickets in a year). Valet parking, I park right next to the building I'm in. No need to go to the valet and wait for them to bring my car. Free parking is included for ALL WDW resort guests. Events (MNSSHP and MVMCP) are usually discounted if purchased in advance. Backstage tour discounts are available through the Disney Visa (at least they use to be. Never did one so I can't say if they still are). 10% discount at World of Disney, included with my Disney Visa. Car Rental Discounts - hard to beat the Entertainment Book (those coupons alone pay for the book and then some). Restuarant Discounts, some are included with the Disney Visa, but if I can also book a package with Free Dining and pay nothing (don't think DVC can partake in that promotion). Pool Hopping - it can be done if I wanted too (DS prefers the quiet pool at the hotel). Spa Discounts, DW isn't a spa person. Sneak Peeks are only good if I'm down there at that time (long ways to travel from WI). All of these without DVC.
See, it can be argued either way.
