Bought a flat screen 37 in tv for our anniversary last year. Devin(aka Sean's child, because mine wouldn't do this) was playing video games and thought that like a normal tv when he threw the empty water bottle at the tv it would bounce off. Nope, screen splintered.....had it exactly a month.

:scared1:  :scared1:  :scared1:
Did you garnish his wages? :goodvibes (Not funny, sorry...I couldn't resist).

Pretty much, when he had wages, which wasn't often!!!!The sad thing was that since it was new and the color was so nice they were always playing video games on it. I think I got to watch one TV show the whole whopping month we had it.

How many points for the TransAtlantic?
666 for a cat 7 (I know. they couldn't change that number!)
Bet it was cheaper there than over here. Rick would've loved to electrical shopping. He was sad to here that Circuit City closed all their stores yesterday.

I'm waiting for Annette to jump in here, any minute now, with a BEST BUY commercial! :lmao:

They are closing 150 stores nationwide and filed for bankruptcy (sp) protectio yesterday to be able to pay for merchandise for the holiday season and pay their employess. Best Buy is doing well considering the economy. We will be happy to take all of your holiday $ :)

I love to play Guitar Hero, though I'm not as good as my husband and neither of us are as good as our son!
We all went to Walmart to get Elaine's prescriptions and we were all playing RockBand 2 on the demo. It was great alternating the drums and guitar as a family. Elaine saw RockBand in the electronic section and was pleased with the price, so I think that will be my gift for Christmas. Oh, I can't wait!!!!! This is the first time in a long time I have been excited about a specific gift on Christmas. Don't get me wrong, my Yankee season tickets are a great gift, but I don't enjoy those until spring and summer. This is something that I can enjoy right away on Christmas morning!

Hmmm, wonder how many for an 11, have they posted them on the DVC website yet?
Nevermind, I see it is posted on the DVC site. Oh if it wasn't for Sarah wanting to go to WDW in 2011 for her birthday, I would be seriously thinking about it.

For us, even though we know it means we are paying more than we would in caxsh (if you convert the price of points or rental for points) it is a matter of being able to come up with the cash - with points we don't have to, so it makes it wasier.

But are you converting points to cover the whole cruise? (btw, how many points does it take to cover an Eastern cruise?) Or do you still need to put cash in on top of the points used?

What is the maintenance fee only on those points. You still have to come up with the cash for the maintenance every year, so it would be similar to having to pay for the cruise, wouldn't it? This doesn't even take into consideration the "sunk" cost in buying the DVC (or any amortization of that cost).

For us - we want to go on the cruise, and this is the way we can do it. And when the time comes, we can take the grandkids to WDW for a week or invite the kids and their families into a grand villa for a week - nothing better than being able to pass the Magic to the next generation unless it is to the one after that!

Time for Biggest Loser, good night all...........:wave2:

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: Kathy, you make me LOL every day! You are absolutely hilarious!! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: Thanks for the giggles woman.

Happy to oblige but who was the one who offered Mike a 'window seat' for the wedding! You're pretty gosh darn funny yourself! :rotfl:

That's right folks, Annette has Disney trips to pay for, so get your butts into Best Buy and pick up some accessories for the Wii you just bought for Christmas (supposedly for the kids, right Chris ;) )!

And now back to our regularly scheduled programming...

Number Boy, you are truly amazing! :worship:

It is 165 per person for cat 11. 333 per person for our cat 7. Points are posted on the DVC site.

Is there something you haven't told us??? :lmao:

Bite your tongue and snap off those kicking legs. Son is 21 and has too much ahead to have a girlfriend much less a wife; daughter is 19 this Friday - and she better not have any news!

My family got me Guitar Hero for my birthday last January - no family gift here! I do love it!

I'm sure the grandkids will get a kick out of watching Granny Mimi play Guitar Hero! :rotfl2: Oh, wait, I forgot. No grandkids (yet).
