Well, I got to the gym tody after dropping Ellis at Grandma's for the afternoon. Then I came home and started clearing the grass seedlings from the block paved drive and the Close. Geez - what a job! - took me 2 hours of back breaking work but it looks nice again now. It looks lovely having the whole Close block paved, but it does need maintaining

When I get back from hols I intend to jet wash the lot too. - That should take me a week

Don't you have something like Round-Up over there? Kills everything.

So how is everyone on the East Coast?

Hey, we're looking at possibly doing a driving trip next year. What places out east in the mountains do y'all recommend? Maybe in the Virginia's/Carolina's or KY/TN area.

One location was down in the Southeast corner of TN, near Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg.

Other locations we're looking at would be:

DC/Williamsburg
Niagara Falls, with a stop in Hershey, PA
Mt. Rushmore and a National Park or two in WY or CO
Ozark Mtns in MO/AR​

Anyone think one is better than the other?

We're looking at something up to maybe 16-18 hours. Figure do 4-6 hours on a Friday night and then have a Saturday to drive the rest of the way. Start back on the following Friday to be home Saturday night.

It would be the first week of June next year.
