This will be my luck next month. I'll be going for a flight to LA and instead end up in Orlando.

Although I agree with you, would be nice to have the mistake go the other direction to a place you'd like to go to.


I couldn't even imagine how they felt. But then again, don't they announce when you board the plane where it is going? They do here (at least the ones I've been on). I can't believe they all fell asleep before the announcement. I can't sleep on a plane and don't even doze until we're at cruising altitude.

We had two an interpreter from USA and they were fabulous too as we had them last year on Med Cruise.

I upload the photos now and I nearly lost all the photos as I wipe out memory card by mistake. But I got all back from cardrecovery phew.

I will put it on report later.

I know two families are going on Eastbound as they are from UK.

Is that covered under Collision or Comprehensive? Never know how a hit and run while not in the vehicle is covered.

If it is Comprehensive, usually a lower deductible. But if his deductible is at $500, for either, it is enough to file the claim. The increase in rates won't go up enough to off set it.

I have profoundly deaf and I wear my hearing aid (I cannot live without it) I love music too. I am going to see the film Mammia Mia tomorrow night.

I can speaking and I work for M&S.

My daughter is profoundly deaf too, she will be 9 in Oct, she have an cochlear implant which is very successful for her. She hear more than me and she speak very clearly than I. My husand is profoundly deaf with no speech!!

We have one hearing son 11 will be 12 next year.

yes, it's fully insured since it's an 2005, and we just finished paying it off. So it's still $500.00 out of pocket. It's too new not to fix.

Went to see Mamma Mia last night. Great movie. All you ladies need to go. Very entertaining and a lot of fun. James Bond singing was a little stange and he really does not have a great voice but it was really a great movie.

I want to see it, but Rick's not keen. We're going to see Wall-e at the weekend.

I didnt realize you had a hearing son, how old is he? Do you find travelling stressful or are you used to it? I noticed in a lot of airports they no longer tanoy announcements anyway and tell you to watch the monitors. I dont know much sign language - just the letters so our conversations onboard might be a little slow as I try to spell everything - sorry in advance!





Depends on the airline Jeff whether they announce it or not, or even the staff onboard. Every flight we take we have to get them to do the nut announcement - last time I reminded them as I hadnt heard it and she said that they had already done it! - Now, I always listen very carefully for it, and hadnt heard a thing so I asked her to repeat it incase other passengers had missed it too. They do those announcements as people are still getting seated etc so the cabin is usually busy and fairly noisy, so it would be easy enough to miss it.

Its guaranteed Chris - as soon as my plane takes off on Thursday morning you will have 14 days of lovely weather. One time we went to Tenerife late in the season - UK had unseasonably hot weather for October and Tenerife had the worst storms in 50 years - I kid you not. It even made the Sun newspaper how bad the weather was in Tenerife.... we bought the Sun and read it sitting in a flooded bar

Even the airhostesses on the flight home were apologising.

Dry riverbeds burst their banks, restaurants and bars were flooded, and what had we got in our suitcases? - yep! - shorts and t shirts

We were soggy for the whole holiday

keeping my fingers crossed for good weather for you.
