Looks like I need some serious dental work, huh? :rotfl:

Howdy

Guess what we did yesterday on our way home from Kettle Moraine. We went to Claim Jumper. Walt and I both ordered the Widow cheeseburger. It was totally different than what we had with you all at the dis meet. It was good but it had extra things on it such as onion rings, cheese, bacon etc. We were so surprised. We ate 1/2 of it at the restaurant and took the rest home to eat for late night supper. The real reason Walt wanted to go there was because he wanted to try the chocolate cake. He ordered it to go. He wanted it because it was ranked one of the top 5 desserts on the food channel. That is what it said in the menu. He says. He had a piece at the hotel and I had a few bites. I was too full to eat it. Now I wish I had it I am craving a piece of cake. Chocolate cake is one of my favorite desserts. On the way here Walt and I stopped at Dairy Queen for a blizzard. I have been craving one for over a year since I joined Weight Watchers. I finally broke down and got a small one. It is probably 16 points. I only have 3 more points to eat today. Oh well I already ate more than that for my coffee at breakfast time at hotel. Forget about the breakfast I ate at the hotel and the soup and sandwich I had for lunch. me bad. I will try to have a lite supper tonite. Walt is on the the other computer looking at pictures from the Harley parade. He is looking for us. Diane

Walt & Di,

Sounds like you are having a great trip. It's funny I had a blizzard today also, I can't remember the last one I had. After the storm moved out we went to the mall.

Hahaha...i thought i had remembered you both right! A Cajun's t-shirt I reckon!!!

BTW Paige...that "y'all" was for you :thumbsup2 Remember to add an "eh" onto one of your posts for me k? ;)

Cass, we say "eh" at the end of our sentences, too. It just sounds more like, "anh".......For example: "Hazel has a cool pillowcase, anh?" Pretty cool, eh?You know, we cajuns have that Canadian connection.:thumbsup2

Good evening, y'all. I haven't been on all day. Lots to catch up on--great stuff! Karen--beautiful vacation home. When Rob retires and he gets a job at Disney (in my dreams) maybe I will have a house like that (also in my dreams)....and you could come and stay for free!

Just an update. All of my and Rob's families have come through ok. Some others were not so lucky, so I am still keeping my fingers crossed for Walt's mama and family.:thumbsup2

Speaking of Walt....guess what we had for breakfast, my cajun friend? Boudin! It was awesome. Just the right amount of meat and seasoning and rice!:cool1:

Well, I am calling it a night. I think I will go and watch the rest of the Tennessee/UCLA game with Rob, and have a couple of beers.........

One more then I am outta here for tonight....

Welcome home Jeff, Suz, Rick, Heather, Chris, Hazel, Sean, and all the kids..... You all were missed! Now get to posting pics! Becky will get her 'welcome home' when she finally gets off of that ship!

I didn't realize just how often I say eh until I went to Florida when I was 21. Some couple at the hotel bar commented on it so for the next week I really payed attention to just how many times I say it :rolleyes1

Let's just say it was a lot  :lmao:

Gotcha on that connection ;) Especially since I speak french :smokin:

Yes I've booked with Virgin. My quote came down from £2010.10 to £1437 a few days ago so I booked it quickly! Have you checked Virigin lately? - they released a load of discounted flydrive prices a few days ago.
