I didn't realize just how often I say eh until I went to Florida when I was 21. Some couple at the hotel bar commented on it so for the next week I really payed attention to just how many times I say it

Let's just say it was a lot

I know what you mean. My accent and some of our "sayings" are pointed out to me almost daily.....not in a bad way, though. At least once a week, I get someone asking me where I am from. I sometimes ask them where they think I am from before I tell them Louisiana. They always think I am from another country...



.....or Jersey.

I can speak a little French, but it is broken Cajun French.

Paige, I have to agree with the others. I didn't pick up on a southern accent either. I would have to agree with those saying a "different country". I couldn't quite place where though...maybe Jersey.

Yes, it is not a typical southern drawl. My accent is rougher--Germany, Spain, and French Canadian, all rolled into one.

So please don't be afraid to ask me to repeat myself when I am talking to you. It doesn't offend me at all. I would rather repeat myself than have you think I am a raving lunatic.

Yes, it's just after 6 AM here and I am UP!!!

I've only got 6 more weeks until Vegas so I am clamping down on this diet/exercise program and decided to try to get my workouts done in the morning before Kira wakes up

I don't know if it will last...I am a huge night owl and don't do mornings, so this is like torture to me.

But I will give it a go. Off to ellipticalize




BTW Karen, I forgot to mention...the villa is gorgeous!!!! Well, I have to ignore that orange but other than that it really really looks nice! Good job

Hi All,

We docked at CC around 7:20 this morning while Hazel and I were eating breakfast on deck #9 at Goofy's Galley. Now just waiting for the all clear so we can leave the ship and enjoy the day at CC.

I went ahead and made our countdown. Nothing fancy, but I bought some bulk stickers at our local Hallmark store and cut up the stickers and taped them underneath each mickey head number. Each day, Amelia will be able to take a sticker out and decorate the castle.
Again, nothing fancy but she got a kick out of it!

Very cute!! I am right behind you with 25 days! I can't wait!!!
