Hi guys..thought I'd quickly pop on and say hello. Hope you are enjoying the blog? We are all well...although we've all had a few sniffles and a few scratchy throats. Looks like we missed the hurricane and tropical storm, so should be OK for Castaway tomorrow.

Back again when we get free internet access in the hotel.

Diane and Walt I have the Harley parade on TV in the background as I catch up here. I keep looking up when they mention they are showing some of teh HOG chapters ride by in hopes that I will catch a glimpse of you. Diane I hope the flag holding is going OK! They keep showing a bike that has a lot of flags attached to it, 5 or 6 large American flags along with another large flag and a bunch of little American flags

You drove up to a beautiful area of our state yesterday! If you are still looking for a Packer shirt for your grandson they usually have them at the Kohls dept. stores in the area and I have seen them at some of the local Targets and Wal-Marts too.

That's exactly what we are doing, not worrying about anything until we are back home from our cruise!!!

You are right about that. We were in the "middle room" of the three. My parents were in 5520, we were in 5522.

We are on deck 7 between the forward and midship elevators in a Cat 11.

You are a lucky guy! Those rooms are great. I enjoyed looking out those "free windows" when I was in the room. Although once i came out of the shower and there was a cast member out outside of the window on the equipment so remember that!

Mel, I "purchased" TGM for our Dec. trip seeing how we will be at WDW when it will be very, very crowded! Do you just look at all the TGM info or do you read the boards there too? I haven't really checked out the boards there at all, just the pages and page of planning info, am I missing something?

Anyone got a pick of the other side...or is it exactly the same? I have a SPH for the BOB cruise and I'm still worried that I won't like it. I'm used to a cabin with a verandah.

Nancy, the other side is the same, not sure if exactly but there is "stuff" in front of the portholes. We've been in SPH rooms on both sides of the Magic and we were always happy with them, it was nice to have a "free" porthole and be able to see what the weather was like outside. Like Chris, we had had maintenance working right outside more than once. 5520 & 5020 have the least amount of stuff in front of the porthole, 5524 & 5024 have the most.

JJust got back from Pizza Hut - had an enorrrrrrrrrrrrrmous pizza - (I doggy bagged half though ) and a bottl of wine.

I pulled a bonehead move today. I totally forgot to check us in online at 10am for our Southwest flight, I finally remembered to do it at 4:30 this afternoon. We still got Group A, but we are at the very end of Group A, usually I have us in the front of Group A. Boy, I think I need this vacation more than I thought.........

I still need to get my carry-on bag and laptop bag packed this evening.

Hi Chris--we have flown under the new SW boarding process a couple of time already and I like this new boarding much better than the old "cattle run" process. It's just that I am anal about checking-in the minute our 24 hour window opens up. This just goes to show how much my head has been into work and not getting ready for the trip.

I'm just about ready, just have to add in a few last minute items tomorrow morning, like my laptop for one....... Then we will be good to go to the airport at 8am!!!

Does anyone know where our Repo people are now. Is Hanna going to effect when they come in? It doesn't look like they'll make Castaway Cay.

I just read a report from Winotracy who is on the repo cruise. She said the seas were a bit rougher today, but they should make it to CC tomorrow morning and back to Port Canaveral on Monday with no problem. Our departure on Monday looks good as our first stop at CC on Tuesday, but of course that could change. Still not sure what might happen after that. We are scheduled for Nassau on Wednesday and back to CC on Friday. This could possibly turn into a Mystery Cruise.........
