I just got off the phone with one of my friends who just got off the Wonder yesterday. She said they had to reschedule to CC day because they couldn't dock at CC after 2 tries! Rough seas and wind...

That was my one fear! I soooo wanted to get to CC on our first DCL cruise. We did and it was a great day.

our first cruise in 2001 we didnt make it to cc. we were pretty sad.
after all the planning and hearing how great it was, only to miss out.

That also happened to us, the 1st time on the Magic. We were running from Hurricane Floyd and we ended up going to Cozumel - they very 1st time a Disney ship went to Mexico.

That is the reason we buy really good candy and the stuff that is just average. The older kids get the average candy and the little ones get the good candy.

I bought some of the bags that had a mixture of 4 different kinds of candy bars in them and put some in a bowl and let the kids pick the one they wanted. Butterfingers seemed to be very popular this year, I saw lots of Butterfringers in kids buckets.

we're thinking of letting cassie use some points for honeymoon in may.

I've already figured that's what we'll do for Rachel someday when she gets married. Then after she gets married of course we'll have to take our grandchildren someday. Of course all of this is many years in the future!

Next year you'll be able to join the rest of us DVCers at the member meet on the Magic! They usually give away hats, so you'll have an official DVC hat as an owner or did they already give you hats when you joined?

Yes! From me too. Anyone dressing up for work today? I have my costume packed and ready to put on if the others also do it. With my luck, I'd be the only one in a costume if I put it on before getting there this morning. Tonight we have a birthday party for Stacy and we have to dress up for that too.

I went to Dallas (Southwest Airlines) today. I was dressed as Harley girl. wore my chaps, leathers, du rag, etc. My daughter was in High School Musical there. Her technology team did a great job. About 95% of the people who work at Southwest were dressed Halloween to the tee. Lots of kids trick or treating there. It was a fun day. When I got home Walt and I went out to eat hotdogs then over to Kristen's house (dd). We helped give out candy. The kids had a great time trick or treating. Kristen had her house all scary. The kids in her neighborhood had fun going there. She had lots of kids. She lives in a new neighborhood with loads of kids. Well I will finish reading tomorrow. I have to get up early to go to Asiah's cheering competition. It is a all day affair. Talk to you all later. Diane

Sean was telling me about a trip they made to a haunted attraction in San Antonio. Sean and Dev went into it and was amazed at one effect there. It was a girl that looked like she was behind bars. Her gimic was that she was imprisoned in an insane asylum and she was begging everyone to let her out because she isn't crazy. Then she steps through the bars and starts acting crazy and chasing people around. My wonderful son and his sense of humor stops, opens his arms and says "Does somebody need a hug" The girl stopped in her tracts and just looked at him for a moment not knowing what to do. Yep that's my kid.

I almost typed "That sounds like my luck" then realized that I just won an award from Coca Cola.

I said only "some" have almonds, the almonds are what I don't like, the rest of the bars are plain, dark or crispy, those I "LOVE".......

did they have a singles meet on the kk1 cruise last year??

we saw in the navigator that there was a singles meet, so just for the heck of it, robin and i went to see how we'd do. robin left with some guy in a uniform,but none of the chics wanted to leave with underdog.

I saw in our Navigator, there was a singles luncheon on the 5 day cruise this past September.
