Sean was telling me about a trip they made to a haunted attraction in San Antonio. Sean and Dev went into it and was amazed at one effect there. It was a girl that looked like she was behind bars. Her gimic was that she was imprisoned in an insane asylum and she was begging everyone to let her out because she isn't crazy. Then she steps through the bars and starts acting crazy and chasing people around. My wonderful son and his sense of humor stops, opens his arms and says "Does somebody need a hug" The girl stopped in her tracts and just looked at him for a moment not knowing what to do. Yep that's my kid.

That is soooo funny!!!

Good morning everyone!

All this talk about DVC makes me want to plan a WDW trip...

Did everyone have a nice Halloween?

We decided not to hand out candy last night - we both took Thomas trick-or-treating. We walked around our neighborhood and then went around to some of the relatives, then ended up at "Bampa & Grams's" (Pete's parents) for pizza, and then Thomas just crashed. He literally put himself to bed in Grams' spare bedroom. This was our first year going door to door, and went 2 1/2 blocks and his bag was full!

Ok, so Halloween's over....time to start getting ready for Christmas!!!

Good morning everyone. We have a busy day today with it being our Music and Fine Arts Day. In a nutshell, we take about 17 kids to another Salvation Army center and have music and arts instruction all day. I just hang out with one of my friends all day and go with him to get all the food for the day. Its usually a pretty easy, but long day for me. Elaine teaches a few classes, so it is a little bit more hectic for her.

Don't forget, it's getting time to roll our clocks back one hour before going to bed tonight here in most of the USA. This is the time of year I dislike the most, not only because of the colder temps, but because of the shorter daylight hours. I'm one of those people who "need" the sunlight. We have a lot more lights burning in the house during the winter months.

Yes I hear that as well... I can't stand short days. Here in New England it gets dark especially early which is very depressing! I like coming home from work and doing stuff around the yard whether that is washing the cars, mowing. Now when it is dark by 5:00, those things are not as easy to get done!

Ok, I am just about ready to head out the door and pick up my load of kids.

I'm very Envious! I want to buy in so bad I can taste it. I gotta pay off a major bill or two first though.

I said only "some" have almonds, the almonds are what I don't like, the rest of the bars are plain, dark or crispy, those I "LOVE".......

Next year you'll be able to join the rest of us DVCers at the member meet on the Magic! They usually give away hats, so you'll have an official DVC hat as an owner or did they already give you hats when you joined?

i already had a hat i got off ebay and robin had one a special bobber friend had sent us. but i'll always take another free hat.
we follically(sp)challenged dudes likey hats.

I know it will be insanely crowded, but I think we'll still do ok. Thomas has never been to DL or WDW, so I can't wait so see his reaction!

I love to see people seeing Main Street for the first time ever!!!! It's an amazing revelation!

My only concern with crowds is not being able to do the rides that DS would want to do....

I'm hoping everyone will be in the line for the Nemo subs, and we can get on to what we want

Just spent the past 3 hours at Riverwinds where I burned off 1525 calories this morning and said farewell to another 2.5 pounds this past week, bringing my total weight loss to 30.5 pounds since July 4th!!!
