Geez, I had a lot to catch up on after work!

Hey, Mimi, here's your favorite!

Love the Mary Poppins! Mack wants to know why the genie is trying to lie down on top of MP's head?QUOTE]

Good morning all. Boy lots of postings since I left the computer last night. Just read 7 or 8 pages! I think it's all the different time zones - there's someone on all the time!

I can see you all like my way of expressing age. Started it in 2005 when I had trouble saying the big 6! 50-10 sounded so much better!

Chris, are you feeling any better? Hope the meds are working.

Enjoying all the pictures - helps with getting to know everyone.

N

The time zone differences definitely add to the large number of pages I come home to each day!

October snow in NJ! And the Phillies thought the weather was bad LAST night!

October snow! In NC, we called the cotton October snow.

How many people in a 'round'?

I'm included!

To any SSMC2008 alumni - Has anyone seen or heard from Leisha? Haven't seen her on for awhile.

N

Got an e-mail from her yesterday re: linked dining.

I am willing to buy you a strawberry smoothie... :drinking1 I have to save the rest of my shipboard credit for my beautification rituals in the spa-aahhhh :cloud9: and satisfying my seeming unquenchable thirst for Konk Koolers (they're not gettin' any cheaper, you know!)

Otherwise, I guess I'll just stick with 'practically perfect' and wait for TikiMimi to worm the answer out of you!

Seeing as how I have to make sure I can pay to get on the ship, and the fact that I have NEVER done a spa-ahhhhh on a ship, I don't think I'll be doing any worming that includes bribes.

Unfortunately, I have no one to do the naughty mud room with on this cruise :sad1:

I did the single villa on the members cruise and it was incredible! I was relaxing in the humungous jacuzzi tub as we pulled out of Castaway Cay. Then they take you inside for a treatment (I chose a seaweed wrap in the 'floating bed') with a back & neck massage. Finally, you end up relaxing on a beautiful day bed overlooking the sea while they serve you tea and fresh fruit, before leaving you alone to enjoy the view. :cloud9: :cloud9: :cloud9: Who cares if I had to sell a kidney to pay for it - it's worth it!

Okay - I'm biting - go ahead and laugh at me now... what is the naughty mud room? That jacuzzi tub experience sounds absolutely fabulous! I could so go for something like that!!!!

Okay - I am guessing here - does PP stand for Polly Purebread?

Cass - Kira's goop picture makes me laugh every time.

I don't have the signature link thing because I am not "with BOB" - that name and I (and yes, I know it is an acronym, but no anyway) don't go together ever again.

Mack tried to play along today but there were too many pages for him. I guess his attention span is short - either that or he has to look at a computer too much for work and won't do it for fun.

Off to catch up on some things around the house.

Chirstian - how is the poison ivy?

Paige - how was the dentist?

I shutting down the laptop early tonight folks, have a good evening and I will see ya tomorrow.......:wave2:

I don't know. He'll have to ask the Disney parade people.

It's actually called 'Exotic Rasul' but I will leave that explanation to Brenda, since she's actually done it!

It's a great deal - for something like $87 you and your significant other can have a treatment room ... it actually has a shower, a small tiled seating area, and a steam room with a big sink and some shower heads. It's hard to describe what it looks like since I don't usually have my glasses on when we're in there.

You're supposed to shower and then cover each other in treatment mud and other spa products and then go sit in the steam room and sweat out the impurities.

We make up our own rules depending on how we feel on the day we do the treatment. We really enjoy it - it's very relaxing and fun. :thumbsup2

I love snow as long as I don't have to go anywhere in it. I love the way it looks as it falls and when it first covers everything ... it's so pristine. And I really love the hush that seems to fall over the rest of the world while snow falls ...

I just hate to drive in it and I hate the cold weather! :rotfl2:

Funny, that's how my son feels.
He loves it!
He doesn't mind driving in it either... but he's young and stupid about that:rotfl:

But here he is in Florida and he says he hates the weather there! Too muggy and hot and bad for his skin (oily and acne)

I told him he's missing the greatest season here in NY.... FALL!

He says no, it's winter, how pretty it is and quiet.....
He'll be happy to be home during December and January to see it:)

Sounds like something I would love; however, my dear sweet groom (I swear he had a sensory disorder as a child that he has not outgrown) can't stand to touch fingerpaint or things like that, so he'd never agree to this one. Oh well!

I am trying to convince Elaine to stay at one of the Mods next time. PO:R is my favorite as far as overall theming. I definitely would like to try staying there!

We stayed at CSR last time we were there and LOVED it. (even though I really don't like southwestern decor much) It was so beautiful. But this time we decided to try something else. Deluxe resorts are out of our price range, I just can't justify spending that kind of money for sleeping and the Value resorts look pretty spartan (the kids would like the themeing but I like more foliage) Neither Laura or I like CBR so that just leaves Port Orleans. If I like it, then It will probably become my resort of choice, if not then we'll be confirmed CSR fans.

It's about the same. I am hoping tomorrow I start to see some changes.

We have stayed at the All Star Sports and Pop Century. They were okay, but I would really like a more upscale atmosphere, a nicer pool area and a waterfront. Some day, I want to stay at the CR or WL. Elaine says if we stay anywhere other than a value, she wants to stay at AKL with a Savannah view, but i think its just too far away and we would spend a lot of time on the buses.

Speaking of Elaine, where's she been? Or are you always hogging the computer? :lmao:

Hello Everyone!

Can you believe it, I've had to once again change my plans for our Cruise!

We recieved the Plane ticket vouchers from Coke yesterday. They expire Jun 30 2009 Travel MUST be taken prior to that date!

Grrrrrr!

So now I have to buy the tickets for the cruise anyway.

But then I had to decide what to do with a set of plane tickets. Well, the most logical thing was to move our WDW portion of the trip up to an acceptable time-frame for the tickets. Since Stuart is out of school for a week in February, it was logical to do the WDW trip then. So now I am scrambling to make all of my plans for that trip.

Oh Well, looking at the pictures of PO:R made me want to leave right now anyway. So now I have an excuse.

Steve,

When in February might you be going? We're thinking of going down sometime around the 6th and returning around the 11th. This is all dependent on airfares and if WDW runs a special (although AAA rates are still pretty good thru the 12th down there).

So - how cold is it supposed to get tonight? Down here in Atlanta - the south - it should get below freezing they say!

I really like PO-R as well. The next time we go, however, we'll try CB just because we haven't been to that one yet.

The grounds around PO-R are great. DS is into the quiet pools lately, so that wins over PO-FQ. We've done CSR and have a good time, but just doesn't turn me on like the PO-R does.

Not colder than stealing someone's FO. :rotfl2:

Just kidding. I don't really go for those anymore.

I think our high today was in the low 40's only. Not sure about the overnight. Thursday is suppose to get to 64, which is great since we're off with DS (school is out Th and Fr).

All you guys who like to go to WDW often but don't like some of the resort choices should look at buying into Vacation Club.

Hmmm - That depends on how successful my plundering is on Pirate Night pirate:

b/t/w Nancy G - If you were 'absolutely perfect' instead of 'practically perfect' you wouldn't have any fun at all!

:lmao: :rotfl2:
its not polly purebread either.
i save that tiltle for my sweet polly robin.

i'll give you a hint...think Seinfeld.:thumbsup2

I guess you don't since there were 3 minutes between your post and mine, but it wasn't intentional with that kind of gap.

Amen, Nancy! I was reading these thinking about the time we stayed at the Poly - we loved it! It was incredible!!! We thought it would be our only time ever staying on property - all trips before that had been off property. Then we bought into DVC - now we'll stay on property every time - EVERY time - blows my mind!

countertop in in. sink back in place. everything looks really nice.:thumbsup2

whats next robin?? :scared: :worship: :lmao:

off to work. nite all.
