Lori, those are some fabulous pictures! You guys looked like you had a ton of fun. We have friends who own a timeshare in Aruba and keep asking us to come along with them. Hmmmmmm, we may have to take them up on it once.
I hope your little sweetie feels better soon. :cutie:

Karen: Just let us know about the tassels. We're both willing and able to assist.

Mimi: Have fun at school today. Let the records show, we REALLY appreciate teachers. What a tough, tough job you have. Thanks for all you do. :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

....a big DITTO from me on all three of those statements!

These little buggers were everywhere!!! YUCK.

And that was at the pool. I took all 3 pics within minutes of each other from the same lounge chair.:scared1:

SNAP :rotfl:

This is the famous Charlie's Bar. If you go to Aruba you should take the time and go there. Very interesting. Everything in the bar (which is also) has been found in the ocean.
Escept the flatscreen behind Scott.:lmao:

I tried to find all the Dissers States.

The URS one looks british to me.

Happy Columbus Day everyone!

I am celebrating by going to lunch with friends. One of us is turning 40! Not me...been there, done that.

Welcome to all the new bobers! I have been very busy this weekend, so I have just skimmed the thread and looked at all the pics! Loved the VIEUX CARRE one, Lori. I would love to be there right now. It's a great time to visit NOLA this time of year.

Well, our LSU tigers played like pigs, my DS, Alex's team lost big, too. Yesterday Rob and I went to see the Redskins play (someone offered us tickets to a suite to watch the game--so much fun) and they lost too! I am definitely ready for a margarita with lunch!

Another must do is the Kuku Kunukoo Bus. It takes you for a champagne toast at sunset, dinner then out to bars until midnight. We had a blast. The bus is open and you have to yell and scream at anything moving on the outside of the bus. People looked at us like we were crazy. And as the night went on I was thinking there were some of us that were crazy.:rotfl2:

Looks like you had a great time.

Lori - a HEADS UP for you.

Some of the Repo Dissers had their credit card debitted twice for purchases when they we are in Aruba. We were OK as we didn't use out CC there.

Don't won't to spoil a great holiday, but fore warned is fore armed.

Hope Julia isn't too sick and starts feeling better real soon.........:flower3:

I'm sure she will be better soon. Alex is home today too. She says her throat hurts and head also hurts. She doesn't have a fever but I'm letting her stay home too. I never let them just skip school so I don't feel too bad about letting her miss one day since I'm home already.

Off to work for me - must teach teenagers about poetry and short stories today not to mention prepositional phrases and diagramming! Woo-hoo, I know how to have fun on a Monday!

Hope Julia gets better soon!

Have a great day everyone -
Mimi

Thanks mimi. I'm not sure if I introduced myself before I left. I'm Lori traveling with DH Scott and kids Alex, Julia and Harrison. It's our 6th Disney Cruise. 3rd Eastern. LOVE IT!

Good morning/afternoon all!

Well, we had quite a busy weekend, mostly spent with DH's family.

We managed to survive though!

I haven't caught up yet, but :welcome: to all the new cruisers! I'm Jen, and I will be cruising with DH Pete and DS Thomas (6) and a whole bunch of assorted relatives. I know we're going to have an awesome time on this cruise!!!!

You should really go there at least once. Take an island tour to get a feel for the whole island. Very different on each side.

Thanks Heather. We heard that before we traveled there. We only used it twice for that reason. I also called the card before we travelled to let them know my concerns. I will be calling today to check our charges.:thumbsup2

We did a sunset cruise one night. It was nice even though we didn't see the entire sunset for the clouds.

Well, that's the highlights of our trip. I'm going to work on the scrapbook then come back on here and at least read this #12 thread and try to "meet" all the new guys. I apologize if I miss anyone. Also, I can't wait to see Mel's pics from Disney.

That is GREAT news! :yay: I like to wander a little in St. Thomas, which is much easier to do if the ship is docked.

I am going to follow you to the great stores. I want to shop in St Thomas. Last time we got Gosling Rum which we were so excited about. I know you are the shopping guru.:worship:
