It's been a long day and I'm beat..........good night all..........:wave2:

I see that a lot of people are looking at doing a WDW vacation next. If you had a choice between doing a couple of weeks in either the end of june or the beginning of july vs the 2 weeks at christmas time (like the 19th on) what would you choose?

I have done both times. Really I went to Disney World the first week of December. It was cold there. I enjoyed Mickey's Christmas Party. I don't know all the acronyms. I bet Christmas is alittle busier than summer time. But both times will be crowded. I went the first week in June and it was not busy at all. It was the first week school let out in Texas. Some schools are still in session until middle of June. If I had to choose what time I would go It would be Christmas. beautiful decorations and lights. Di

I would love to go to WDW in December but it is my busiest month of the year with our fundraising and social service programs. For now, we will stick to August before the kids get back into school.

Oh, I heard my wife signed up on the DIS this evening. We will all have to welcome her when she figures out how to post. I think she just got it set up before putting the kids to bed, so perhaps she will get on in the morning.

Well it's been a day or so since we have had some pics posted.
Last weekend was Fleet Week in SF, and Sean got to ride the SO boat and take pics of the Blue Angels during their performance. Here's a few pics of them:

Awesome pictures! I have seen both the Blue Angels and Thunderbirds in person. It is very impressive!

Good morning people:goodvibes

Hope you all have a nice day.

I'm out to lunch with a friend - huge buffet of chinese, indian, italian and thai, followed by a dessert buffet:banana: - (I usually have about 20 profiteroles:rolleyes1)

I did do 2 1/2 hours in the gym yesterday though so that should have burned off enough for a few profiteroles:rotfl:

Morning.
Becky, loved the pics. And I agree about going at Christmas. Great decorations. We haven't seen all the parks decorated yet.
Karen, have a great lunch.
Andy, I sooooo wish you had pics to show. That would have been funny.:lmao:
Chris, can't wait to "meet" your wife.
Mike and Robin, you guys leave so soon. I'm getting very excited for you all.
Shelley, glad you survived vaca! PICS?

Christmas time is our favorite time, too! :goodvibes

If I'm going in the summer, I'd prefer to go as early in the summer as possible - less heat and humidity, less chance of tropical weather, some schools go into June, so those folks probably won't take their vacations first thing - maybe less crowded; and I'd want to go about then anyway since we get out of school in May and go back in early August. My preference though would be to go at Christmas - I'd love to be there at Christmas, and with that much time, who cares if it is crowded.

HI SHELLEY!!!!

How was your trip???

Hi family! We survived the vaca with my folks. :rotfl: Been busy getting back into the swing of things. Working 10 hr days! Hope everyone is well and I will check back in soon.
To anyone I might have missed, have a ...

Howdy All...........

Looks like my morning workout will be an afterwork workout today. I kind of overslept this morning thanks to the Phillies win last night that put them into the World Series. I tried going to bed early, but I couldn't drag myself away from the game. At least they won, so that made it worth it.......:goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes

Becky--they were some great pics, thanks for posting them!!! :thumbsup2

With all the times we have been to WDW since our first trip in September 1983, we have yet to see it decorated for the Holidays, maybe one of these years before I croak, we will get there........:rotfl:

Looking forward to "meeting" Mrs.captchris (AKA: Elaine) hope she posts soon so we can all :welcome: her "officially" to the group!!! ;) ;) ;)

Glad to to see the pictures of the Blue Angles. They were here in Brunswick Naval station last month for the annual Great State of Maine Air Show.
Just setting with a cup of coffee and wife is still snoozing.
I thought after we retired I would be able to sleep late NOT the old body clock.
Everybody have a great day. Im going stripper fishing with one of my boys. Just hope we catch a few
