ok, my cup of tea is empty - off to iron

Good morning Susan
I was at work and found out when our receptionist came in crying. I have a tv in my office and everyone gathered around for the entire day just watching. Such a sad sad day.(I had a customer that was in Tower #2. I have not heard from her since.)
My TA was at the Animal Kingdom when it happened. They heard the announcement for everyone to leave quickly. She thought an animal got loose so the adults formed a circle around the children and quickly left the park. She said some people were indeed panicking and running but for the most part everyone else was just stunned and didn't even know why they were asked to leave.
for everyone as we continue to remember.Matthew was telling me about that game the other night. Perhaps you read about it as you caught up on the thread.
I am dreading catching up over tomorrow and Saturday. I have a funeral to officiate tomorrow, then I have to go to NYC for a meeting at 7:30 PM, then I am gone all day Saturday for a Men's Fellowship Camp day. When I get home Saturday, after Elaine rubs lots of Ben-Gay or Icy-Hot (playing softball all day) on me, I will have to settle in and devote an hour or so to catching up on a lot of pages.

for Saturday.Yeah, it worked for Julia. She turned 3 on her first cruise. Harrison seems to be another story. I keep telling him if he wants to go on Mickey's boat he has to pee pee in the potty. He finally told me he doesn't want to go on Mickey's boat. he wants to go on Goofy's boat.![]()

What makes it tough being Lina's parents, and the fact she is turning 18 on Monday, is, Lina is not a mature 18 year old. That's one reason it was so difficult leaving her home last week, if it had not been for Samantha staying here with her, Lina would of had no choice but to go to Florida with us.
Hazel and I are probably going to be called the meanest parents in the world in a little while when Lina finds out that we are not going to pay for her to attend bartending school. Neither one of us feel that she is mature enough, at this age, to handle being a bartender. I have a feeling Hazel and I are in for another "rocky" weekend.
for your dad....Did she definitely decide she's not doing massage therapy?
The school director from the massage therapy school called yesterday and asked Lina to come to the school and talk to her next week. We scheduled an appointment with the director for Wednesday morning. Should Lina still decide she doesn't want to do this, then the director will give us a check on Wednesday refunding us our money, except for the $75.00 non-refundable application fee.
We are hoping Lina has a change of heart, but we'll see what happens next week.
Hey, am I FOrgetting something?

I thought you had to be legal drinking age to serve drinks. Just this week, I was buying a bottle of wine at our exchange, and I had to change registers because the cashier couldn't check me out because she was not legal drinking age. Of course bartending is different, but somehow I thought the same rule applied.
Good luck, Andy and Hazel. Here's hoping she chooses a path that will be best for her and for y'all, too.![]()
