Only two more nights at home then we are off. Just one more day to finish packing and getting stuff ready!! Vacation is here!

Just wanted to pop in and wish you all a wonderful cruise next week. We had to cancel the "serenity" cruise early on but we will be here to watch you sail out this Saturday.

Kevin, we'll really miss not being able to cruise with you and Nan for a second time.

1 more week at 3pm - we will be meeting our dis friends in the promenade lounge

1 more week at 4pm - lifeboat drill - maybe we'll get lucky and meet in the wdw theater or a restaurant

1 more week at 4:30pm - we'll watching the sailaway party from deck 10

1 more week at 5pm - with a bbc in hand (or other beverage), we'll be on deck 4 saying goodbye to the us of a and watching the pilot boat guy jump from the magic to the pilot boat. Maybe see a fish or two playing along our way out to sea

After several weeks of steady work, Cinderellie got to spend her lovely Sunday scrubbing floors. But alas, the keys to the rental-turned-flip have been turned over to the realtor! Here's hoping there's good news waiting for us when we return home. The market stinks, but there's still room for hope. I am SO READY for this cruise!!

QUESTION...did we decide on how we will recognize each other at port? Not sure I remember what we decided on...was it green mardi gras beads?

I missed this discussion, but Mardi Gras beads work for me. I can bring extras to pass around. DH would just love lugging them around. Maybe not all green, but we've definitely got Mardi Gras beads.

Nancy and Chuck...we will miss seeing you again - hopeful for some pixie dust so our paths can cross again.

Sure would like to hear other suggestions on how we can recognize each other at port/on board. If no one else has other suggestions - can we agree on Mardi Cras beads???

Got the answer to my question about the iPod docks. Nope! Oh well, We will just pack ours. Love those steel drums out on the verandah. Promise we won't be loud!

We have some Mardi gras beads - already packed for pirate night but i'll get them out once we're in Orlando so we'll have them Wed a.m. - we also all made sailaway "shirts" with our names on the front and on the back is a Mickey icon of clouds with the Magic sailing on the water....

We leave in about 24 hours!! Finishing up the packing today. We do not have any beads but I will be sure to come up and introduce myself to anyone that I think maybe a DISer. See everyone Saturday!!!

We leave friday at around 1030am. We'll drive to PC from here in SC and expect it'll be about 6 hours to get to the Radisson.

Hello, Everybody, it has been a busy last couple of days for us. I was actually out of town and out of computer contact for a couple of those days. Anyway, I’m back now, and boy did I have some catching up to do.

First, I see that we have some new Cruisers. Welcome aboard to all of you!!!
Next, to those of you who are fighting illnesses and who are injured, here is some more for you. Hope you all are rearing to go come Saturday.

Dave, your pictures are phenomenal.

Nancy and Chuck, thank you for your well wishes. Wish that you were coming along. Hope to see you on a cruise one of these days.

As for how we are going to recognize each other, I think the Madi Gras beads are a good idea. I think that I have some. My DH and I will have shirts on with our cruise logo on the back. They are blue. So, that will be one way to recognize us; but we will have the beads as well. However, since we are taking the DCL bus from WDW, we probably won’t be there until about 12:30 or so. How about a MEETING PLACE in the terminal? How would that work?

Did anyone else put in a request to have one of the Disney characters to call you? I did. I had a request put in for Mickey to call my DH, but I forgot what day and time. Anyway, Saturday morning I’m coming home on the train, and I as I was almost home, so I called by DH to let him know. Well, I called him on his work cell phone. About 2 seconds before I called, he gets a call on him personal cell phone from, you got it, MICKEY AND GANG!!! So, he let me listen to the call too. Wasn’t that just the most awesome timing?? Evidently, I had it schedule for 10:00 am, on October 16th.

And finally, we are PACKED, except for the FE gifts and toiletries!!!!

Do I need to bring life jackets for my kids, as I saw someone write about?
