Hey guys! Does anyone know if you can prepay your tips, spa treatments, excursions, etc.?

What you can do, I believe, is call ahead and put money on your onboard account and just pay the tips, etc. from there. When we took our 2008/2009 cruise (New Years Eve) and for our Christmas gifts from family they called DCL and put money in our onboard account.

Yea thats what I had thought..I havent done it but I thought I read that you can call and pay it ahead of time

Can we do the Roy O' Disney Suite first - that will probably my only opportunity to ever see it... We can then leave a little early from the tour for our brunch.

We'd like this option as well. We did a stateroom tour on the EB Repo, but would love to see the Roy Suite.

You can put money on your account when you check in I believe. If not then I know you can once on board at guess services. You can pay your tips anytime once on board as well. Your Shore excursions are not billed untill you have completed them just in case they need to be cancled due to the weather or any unforseen reason. A guest changing their mind does not count.

I have read about people who have set up prepaid accounts but do not know how to do this. I always leave what little extra I have in my checking account and use my charge card while on vacation. Then I pay it off when I return. My bill is a good way of tracking what I spend and I can double check it against my DCL bill. I do not need to worry about losing the cash. I do bring ones for tips and money for laundry.

You can call your TA if you are using one or call DCL and ask. I am sure if this is important you can find a way to make it work.

If I remember correctly we gave them our Disney rewards card when we checked in. It covered all but a bit of our tips and spending. I love that card!!!

Yes, it's Sunday Oct. 24th (our 1st day at sea) at 10:30 am. We will probably meet at deck 5 mid-ship, the area of our 1st stateroom tour.

DW, DD and I would like to join in on the stateroom tour.

I didn't realize we were looking at joining up for brunch so I had just booked it at my first available. I know we are going to Palo together so we synched those up.

I just went into the DVC website to check a few things while I’m sitting at my desk eating my lunch. I happened to glance at the countdown for our trip which includes three nights at Kidani Village and a trip to EPCOT to visit the F&W Festival pre-cruise. It said only 67 more days… Okay, now I’m really stoked! WOOOHOOO!!! I noticed the posts on our thread here are starting to pick up the pace. We can’t wait to meet you all.

If your Character breakfast is that day just ask to be reassigned. They will set you up to go another day. Since not everyone likes these meals there is always room for others. Do not worry you can do both.

We both work in Fremont, California (my husband and I are both from the Bay Area) so we sometimes stay in the Milpitas home or in the Sunnyvale home. It just depends on where and how long we will be working hour wise, but our home base is the family home in Central California where we are only 299 miles away from Disneyland!!!! You are more than welcome to take pictures of the room anytime.

Not sure if it has been discussed but I know DCL celebrated Halloween last year on Wednesday night (St. Thomas day) during this same cruise time. I don't have a lot of details but there was trick-or-treating!
