Have you looked around you? You are in good company! We are all excited about the cruise, that's why we have this forum, right? To share with other equally excited people! Plus, the time will pass faster than you realize. Last year our thread started over a year and a half before the sail date, and we had such a great time getting to know each other that we were ready to sail before we knew it! So just keep hanging out and chatting.

Plus.....where else can you talk about fish extenders and over-the-door shoe holders and magnetic door signs without getting the "huh?" look???

LOL - so true!!! I am totally making a fish extender for our door this year...doing all those fun things (like making door magnets, researching excursions, etc.) helps me bide the time until the big day! And now that we've been on a Disney cruise, it makes it even more fun. Our friends who haven't cruised Disney always comment about the cost, but I have to say that the extra $$ is so worth it and I tell them that if they did just one DCL cruise, they'd be addicted as well!!

So glad I'm a DISer.

Just returned from Aug. 20 Wonder and will be on Oct. 29 Wonder after 6 days at the world. Then It's a years hiatus from Disney until Oct. 2010 when it will be our first time on the Magic doing the Back to Back Oct. 16th Western followed by this Oct. 23rd Eastern. Ahh good times

Hello, Everyone. I just returned from 2 days at Sea World in San Diego for my DH's birthday. You would think that after spending a few days at WDW just a couple of weeks ago, that I would have been ready to do the little walking around Sea World. But, I did manage especially after changing into sneakers from the flip-flops that I started with. Don't know what I was thinking.

Anwyay, it was a very nice 2 days with just my DH and it was what he wanted to do, so that made even more special.

But now, we are gearing up for this cruise. Eric is so funny!!! He is getting all these ideas for FE gifts and door magnets and is ready to start making them now. I keep telling him that the cruise is over a year away. But, now that I think about it, it is never too early to start making those gifts, especially since it looks like we are going to have quite a group of folks.

Someone mention this being their first trip on the Magic. It will be our first on the Magic as well. I am looking foward to seeing the similiarities and differences in the 2 ships.

And then, the following year, we get the Wonder here on the West Coast!! I am hoping to be on the repo cruise. Is anyone else looking to be on the Wonder's trip to the West coast?

Below was shared to those in my e-mail contracts list...but wanted to include my 'cruise buddys' as well. Hope this helps - just one person.

Hello my good friends,

I wanted to share this e-mail with a hope that all will ‘learn from my mistake’. This should be started with...all is well...how blessed we are to have our health and well being.

This information is regarding how ‘slight’ inattention during internet usage can turn your computer ‘worthless’ – in the blink of an eye. It is my sincere hopes...you can learn from my error.

Here’s my story. As a ‘dial up’ customer for ~10 years, I finally made ‘the’ switch to high speed internet on Saturday. Stop laughing. Sunday, after church, I went on line to check e-mail and (please – don’t debit my ‘man card’) look for a recipe for a special family diner. Hey...when your Father-In-Law comes to diner – you pull out all the stops. Please...stop laughing. Well, ALL I DID...was input Yahoo [dot] (something) in the browser. Then, computer security alerted me of a blocked malicious download attempt. Instead of (here’s my second mistake) closing the browser – I...well...(must of) clicked on the bar to allow the download to continue. It only took...5 or 6 seconds to load and activate a nasty virus named - ‘Windows Police Pro’. Almost immediately...this virus took a level of control that was ‘incredibly annoying’ – including numerous and repeating pop ups. Of course...the writer of this malware introduced a way to eliminate any/all viruses...for a six month introductory price of $49.99 (reduced from $79.99) or $499.99 lifetime. Excuse me if I offer them some courtesy...but...the thought of offering a ‘sale price’ gave me a warm and fuzzy feeling...that did not last as long as ‘this insult’ took to install (see above – ~6 seconds).

This has a happy ending. I have wonderful friends – again, I am truly blessed. They are as nice and helpful as they are talented. Quite a few hours of research, patience, hard work and determination were required to remove ‘this insult’.

It’s my hopes that this helps another. Feel free to pass these words.
