We've had an incredibly stressful week in our house. There is a small possibility that we will have to cancel the cruise at the last minute or, as an alternative, bring our oldest child (age 7) with us. If given a choice between canceling and adding one to our cabin, I'll definitely add one! We're optimistic that everything will settle down in the next few weeks and we'll be able to enjoy the cruise but I'd love any positive thoughts and prayers for my little guy!
In happier news my FE stuff arrived in the mail on Friday. I need to look over the list and prepare the gift bags but I have too much else going on this week!!!
If anyone else celebrates Rosh Hashanah this week - L'Shana tova! A very sweet New Year to all!

DrMom--I hope everything is okay and you're able to make it on the cruise!

Spent all afternoon yesterday making FE (the actual pockets) for everyone in our cruise group (we're doing our own FE exchange in addition to the one I'm doing here on the board). We have 28 people in 15 cabins. Somehow I ended up cutting Mickey heads out of felt...that's a lot of Mickey heads! But they look really cute, which I'm happy about.

We leave MCO at 5:50pm. We opted for a later flight, hoping to squeeze some fun in that day before we leave. With the 2 hour time change in our favor this time, I'm hoping it works out!

Wow, it's getting close. I'm traveling for business Oct. 16-20, return home Thursday night, have Friday to get my family of 6 in gear and head to the airport Saturday. So, I'll be packing for everyone this weekend. Initially I thought that wouldn't be a problem because we're typically done with summer weather by October in Denver...however today it's almost 90! I can't complain, but I am a little worried about what I pack staying in the suitcases! I may just have to lock them up while I'm gone, so I'm not doing laundry the day before we leave

We have Remy reservations on the last night at 7pm. It was my first choice, but seemed to be slow to be swept up by others. I wonder if I'm missing something that night I hadn't thought of.

We have Remy reservations on the last night at 7pm. It was my first choice, but seemed to be slow to be swept up by others. I wonder if I'm missing something that night I hadn't thought of.

No matter what you do, when you do it you will be missing something, even if you are trying to do the thing you do not want to miss.. You will be missing something somewhere else.. Do not even worry about it, do what you can...

We always fix that problem by rebooking as soon as possible on board so to say "No problem we will do that next year"..

Also rebooking makes it easier to get the crying sobbing members of the family , who do not want to leave, to walk off the ship under their own power the last day.. I have noticed it has even helped the kids also...

If the World Series is on when you are on the cruise I will just about promise that they will either be playing it in one of the Bars, Or they will be playing it on the Jumbo Screen. Or they will do both...

I checked the mailbox again and guess what sale catalogs, bills but NO cruise docs. I emailed our TA as requested so she can check to see what's going on.

Hi Kathy, I finally did get all my docs...cruise and resort but I'm still waiting on my DME tags. Like I said I haven't flown since 95 and it's all so new. I did however call Disney and they told me if I haven't recieved them within 12 days of our trip to call back and they will send them out again. Not the same situation as your cruise docs but I bet it is because of your cabin change. I'm sure it will all work out in the end. Pixie dust coming your way.

We are leaving on the earlier afternoon flight...gives us a chance to sleep in a bit and have lunch before heading to the airport. Did I miss where you sre staying? We will be at AKL the last part of our trip. When do you leave on Saturday? right now we are set to leave on Tues night but after talking with the kids teachers and seeing their increased workloads, we are debating coming in on Fri or Sat afternoon instead. sigh.

Nevermind! Just remembered you said Nick hotel? Have you stayed there before? Looks really fun!

It is so close!! And I am with you, what kind of Fall weather is this? It has been so hot!! I just need to pick up a few toiletries and then I can start packing. Yay!

We received our DME tags for the trip home. I was surprised they came so quickly. We didn't book a package but rented points from a DVC member.
I received an email from our TA re: our cruise docs. It seems since they were printed and mailed DCL won't re-print them unless we pay an additional $50

I sent a request to our TA to upgrade our cabins as I read a BAD review on our new cabin. I REALLY don't want to awaken at 4AM on disembarkation to loud banging due to the luggage being loaded. It seems cabin #2524 is directly above the luggage loading dock.

We are going to MNSSHP that night and I don't think DGS (4) will be able to enjoy the party if he's been up since 4AM

I am sure you will do great on your flight. SW is great. They have really good customer service. The flight attendants are great. Sometimes they sing to you.
