More FRIDAY'S left before we are on vacation

:cheer2::cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:

Please let it get here already :worship:

I'm sorry to have to report due to a probable job loss. We have had to cancel our sailing in this cruise..............

I feel your pain. I lost my job in May---and we've really struggled if we should cancel this trip or not. :sad1:
We've chosen not to---but our extravagent plans have really taken a shaving on how much we are going to spend/do on this trip...

Good luck for the job hunt...

St. Martin.... I've been through the shore excursions and can't find anything I like to do....

I felt the same way. We decided to check outside of Disney's excursions, and booked something outside of the cruiseline.
In St. Maarten we're doing the Random Wind excursion/boat. It looks like a day of fun, food, snorkelling---and a bargain price compared to Disney.

At St. Thomas we've opted to do the sky ride--and just enjoy the day of shopping since we will have been on the water all day the day before.

But--that said--we're all ready to board. Our rooms at WDW are booked (at 60% off the rack rate!!), online check in is complete, transfers complete, Palo booked, spa booked....now all we need is the trip to get here...!!!! (and for me to get a job! ;)).

I have kind of been the 'travel agent' for the group of us (7 of us)--it's been fun, but mind boggling trying to get everyone happy. I am sure once we all meet up at WDW (the other family is from So Cal, we live in Nor Cal)--all will be wonderful!!.

We're on the real countdown now---right?!? :cheer2:

My birthday is the week before we leave and our 14 year anniversary will be three weeks before the cruise.

When in October is your birthday, Ben? ;)

We are celebrating a very significant birthday for my Mom, but she would probably kill me if I told you. Anybody want to guess? :rolleyes1

I'm guessing Fran will be 70?? :confused3

Can't wait to talk more on the ship. I have preregistered for the ones next year in Omaha and Minneapolis.

Thinking about the Spartan Race. Have you ever done that one? It looks like extremely hard.

I did the Super Spartan in Miami in April Easter weekend (the 8 mile one). I thought Tough Mudder was more difficult in terms of obstacles but there was a lot more trail running in the Spartan race.

Of course no race is complete without a costume! In honor of Easter weekend, a friend and I dressed as bunnies

Our wedding anniversary is in October too - 13 years for us!

And we have been to St. Maarten before. Just nothing seems to fit for us this time... I will do more research and maybe we will branch out on our own. First island we get to so I want to do something!! Thank you everyone for the suggestions :)

Hey everybody, I've been away on vacation which was glorious I might add:cloud9::cloud9: I see we have a few new people joining us:thumbsup2Wecome!!
Looks like Oct is a good month to get married, Nate and I are celebrating our 11th anniversary on the 21st. I can't believe we are only 10 weeks away... which means only 9 more weeks before we're at DW!!!:banana::banana:

Lots of fall weddings on board it seems? We are September 24th, and this will be our 9th. We are going to definitely "celebrate" it sometime on board. This will be the first year in the last 4 that we have not been cruising on my wife's birthday which is 11/27.

Someone was talking about St. Maarten, and we were in the same boat so to speak, been there before, enjoyed it, but what to do. That is why we are going to go the route of renting a car, visiting their local zoo, a trip with more time in Marigot, and just whatever. Just to be different. We will then hang out at the bar across from that sign and watch people pick up chicks:rolleyes1

No birthdays or anniversarys close by to celebrate so we are just going to celebrate the fact that the ground is under our feet and not over our heads.
