Welcome!! Underdog aka Mike here and i'll be joined by my lovely bride Tart Annihilator aka Robin.

i guess the smoothie choice wil be easier now because Robin got a message from DCL saying that due to "Unpopular Demand" of chocolate smmothies, Disney will no longer be making them... Thats right folks, only Strawberry or Mango is the choice to make now.

Sorry I called DCL and Robin got the message with the typo. It was supposed to say they are no longer serving strawberry smoothes due to the unpopular demand.

This is Mike's own requirement. However, if you look good in a red dress, please feel free to wear it to torture Mikey.

I think this means that Mike will pay all of the willing participants $10.


Actually, we have moved the imaginary pillow fight to a secret (as in don't tell Mike) location. He's going to have to try and find us.

Wellll, it depends on your idea of nothing. I think guys dancing while wearing earrings and bras and carrying purses is pretty darn entertaining. But don't take my word for it - see what you think:

Thank you all for the welcome, the advice and the FACTS. I spent the whole weekend reading the Homemade FE thread.. I got an idea in my head, but better start working on them now if they are to be finished by the time we set sail. I look forward to meeting you all in less than 4 months!!!

Oops - I hope we didn't offend you. But after 9 PM (?) the nightclubs on Beat Street, including Rockin' Bar D, are 'Adults Only'. I'm sure no adult would want to subject their children to the site of Mike dancing

well...truth be told..whenever the chics get a glance at "the scar"...theres no no shortage of ladies willing to offer their br@ for the cause.

our last cruise was too funny..Robin turned to friend Rose and said "Rose, we need your br@!" to which she replied "I'm not wearing one!"

Welcome Melissa and Family!​

I'm Nancy and cruising with DH Chuck (Charlie Tuna/DIS). This will be our 4th cruise and one day we'll be Florida residents too but more than likely from the Cape Coral area.

BTW...Chuck and I vote Strawberry.

I know us Nevadans get the DCL inside scoop before everybody else. They told me everybody who got the memo got the wrong information. So I just had to break the bad news.

It is good of you to get creative for your strawberry smoothy shortage. The milkshake idea is perfect. Just bring the strawberries. Since they will be in short supply. We will be enjoying our chololate smoothies.

So working through all of these Disney specific cruising things
FE gifts?!? Sounds fun – do I need to get my crafty on and do something homemade? Gotta also read on how to sign up…

Cape Coral – my parents are in Naples and we are in Tampa – we will have you surrounded!

Chocolate – it really is the only vote. Although when eating at Johnny Rockets this weekend, they has a strawberry milkshake with Oreo Cookie Crumbles. I might be able to get on board with that.

Vinylmation – it has its own store in Downtown Disney. We will probably be over there several times before the cruise. I can take orders if needed.

Comandeering bras… is this another Disney secret I don’t know about

So, here is what I have so far of what I need to do when I get on the ship….
- Guest Services to request tickets for the princess tea
- Guest Services to drop off something for character signing (thinking a photo mat) and a thank you snack
- Find time and place to change our dinner seating to the early one to avoid a grumpy 5 year old (only thing available was the late seating – she is like me and gets grumpy when she is hungry)
- Then relax for the rest of the week and take full advantage of the soft serve ice cream machine

Anything I am missing before I get to the ice cream? maybe the kids club…

Oh, and how is the ship’s gym? Anyone use it?

Sounds like you are doing pretty well. Have you tried to call DVC to get the dinner seating changed? If you explain the circumstance, they might be able to do it ahead of time. I don't think this cruise is sold out.

The ship's gym - they have lots of treadmills (with TVs), not as many ellipticals, free weights, some weight machines, stability balls and things like that. The gym and the spa are all the way forward and the view is lovely, although running on a treadmill on a moving ship can be interesting. Some people prefer to walk outside. You can walk all the way around deck 4, although the view is better from deck 10 (stop right there, Mikey ).
