So does that mean you'll be doing the Castaway Cay 5K? (No mud or obstacles)

I didn't know about the Castaway Cay 5K - will have to check that out. I was looking into the Disney Princess Half Marathon last night as a potential future race. I am not a big runner without obstacles to distract me from the running but that one is at Disney World and you run through the park...

Question on booking excursions. Being new, it looks like I will be booking later than others? Is that correct? If so, do things book up?

I have never been much of a runner but I have just started training for the Princess next year I am working out at a wonderful gym and they are going to help me train. You'll have to keep me posted...

I don't think a lot of shore excursions book up on the Eastern but other folks may have better info. Also, if something you like is booked up, you can always ask at the Excursions desk because they often have cancellations.

As far as I know you can vote on any flavor as long as it is a smoothly made on Disney cruise. It has to be a smoothly.

Only the people who want strawberry smoothys have to have milkshakes due to the shortage of strawberrys on the ship.

this just in..the Captain has approved guests bringing their own strawberries aboard the ship for smoohtie purposes. (it would appear he's a strawberry smoothie fan)

Because of the Port time changes I had to change my ressie with AVIS. Those buggers wanted to charge me $12 just to change the time! I did raise a little fuss (well maybe it was more than a little) and I got my ressie switched with no extra charge. (I think).

I am not a great runner either and I am just getting over an injury from a 10 mile trail run I did in May (IT Band). I thought this would be a good goal to build up my running endurance. I do better with straight running when I am training for something. Plus, how much fun to run through Disney!!

As my lunchtime job, I am a trainer at our CrossFit gym at work so that is pretty much my training right now.

Probably in one of the gift shops on-board. As Kathy said.....not available anywhere else apart from Ebay. They have similar ones at WDW, but not the cruise ones.
