10/22/11 Parley!! Will this get me on the ship any faster?

WOW!!!! This thread has really taken off since I last checked it!!! Hope everyone had a great holiday season, now it's time to get back to what's really important, like the Disboards!!!! I'ts gonna take a while to read back thru all the posts, but was wondering what were doing for the fish exchange? Has there been any updates on that?? That's my favorite part of the cruise!! It really makes me feel like a kid, running back to the room to see if there's anything in the hanger! Have a great day everyone!

Anyone have a suggestion for where to stay 1 night prior to the cruise?? I will be coming in 1 day prior to our friends joining us, and my daughter and I want to go to Animal Kingdom. Should we rent a car to get to the hotel, then to the port the next day?? Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

i can only tell you what we do. we arrive at Orlando airport friday and rent a car from Budget. Then we drive to the Port and explore the area and have dinner at Grills with friends. We stay at the Raddison and turn our rental car back at the Budget in Port Canaveral and take their shuttle to the ship the morning of the cruise.

If you are arriving a few days early to attend Animal Kingdom, you could just stay at a Disney resort and take the Magical Express bus to your resort (its free). Then on cruise day you could take a Disney bus over to the port. (they charge for that service) We've done that before and its smooth!,..

In no way are we experts but thats the way we do it. Anyone else have a different way?

My DH, Rob and I cruised with many of you in '09 and I just wanted to wish y'all a wonderful cruise! I see Rose has posted, too!

Fingers crossed that we will be living in Florida by the time you all cruise, so maybe I can see y'all pre or post cruise!

Thank Goodness I miss my Girls (and Dawg)!
Joined weight watchers almost lost all that Christmas weight now it's off to get some more for the cruise. I want to lose 10 to 15 before my March trip...which reminds me I need to start walking again or I'm going to be paying for that one.
