Taking a girls cruise that we just booked today. I see this thread is already well underway!!! Can I ask if there is a list going for the fish extender fun??? Can't wait til the fun begins!!!

Welcome Sherry! I'm Nancy and my DH is Chuck (DIS name= Charlie Tuna). This will be our fourth DCL cruise and we've also cruised with some of these fine folks.

Great topic though! Do we want to have a meet? On the first day (and/or any other day)? What time? Where? Can the strawberry and chocolate smoothies meet in harmony or do we need to make banners to keep the different 'smoothie groupies' happy?

Never been on a 7-nt. cruise, so don't have any idea what to expect in the ports and with so many nights on the ship!!

We're up for all meets - just remind me... I organised the last one and forgot to go - was too busy exploring a bottle of champagne in the cabin and admiring my free window that I lost track of time

I just wanted to pop in and say how gorgeous Addi and Brady are!!! And what a set of lungs on them!

At least they are easily entertained

I can't believe how big they are! Time flies eh? Kira would be best friends with Addi in 5 minutes if they ever met!

I'm so jealous of you all cruising together again!!

Hi peeps - phew! - Last time I was on here it was page 5! All caught up now though

Heres our bit of news since I was on here last:

Proud Mommy alert : Ellis got his brown belt in karate and is now in the advanced class.

Still enjoying my job (and loving the money!) Get my 2nd months wages this week - buying new bedroom furniture

About to start decorating the bedroom (finally)... yes, we've had the paint in the garage for over 8 months

Thats all for now folks... off to work

I have my close out audit at work today, then the carpets get cleaned this afternoon, then my boss will be here to review all of my programs this evening. In between I will be writing my brief to leave to my successor. I am guessing that will be about 50 pages!

Oh, and I also pick my truck up this afternoon!

We're up for meets too Not sure about FEs at the moment. Although we had a lot of fun with the one on our last cruise, we had so much stuff to take home we could have done with an extra suitcase. And we're even more restricted on baggage next year since the airline has changed their baggage allowances again

I feel the same way Joh. There are so many great things given out at those DIStag games (FE exchanges) and so little room to take them all home.

But, we are looking forward to all the great meets we have already planned and yet to plan in the coming months.

That way each cabin playing would get one nice gift sometime during the cruise and its easier to pack, less time consuming delivering, less weight and more affordable for everyone - just a thought. 2011 Is right, and we can make it 20 total whether you want to do just one gift or 5-7 small gifts it's up to the person. So do we want to switch it to a "Secret Parley" (love that Nancy)?

Oops! - Sorry, I meant how about buying just one e.g. $20 cabin gift rather than a gift to every cabin playing (we ended up doing approx 30 bags last cruise). I wasnt very clear was I. So, it would be up to the individual player how you spend the $20 whether its several little items or one item, but just buy for one cabin instead of 30 cabins.....just read it back to myself and I'm not sure thats any clearer

I understood what you meant, Karen, and I think it's a great idea. It means that you are able to spend a little more on the cabin you pick and it also means you won't have all that extra stuff to take home with you.

We would definitely be 'up for it' if that's what is decided.
