My Gosh!!!!I am sooooo EXCITED!! I just booked our cruise for OCT 21 yesterday!!!

It will just be DH and I, no kiddos this trip.....but y'all are making me feel bad since your kiddos are so excited but DH has never cruised (ever) and he wants to see what its about before we take the girls. We did this with his very first trip to WDW and it worked out well that way.

Ohh, need to get me a ticker!!!!

I am just off the Dream this morning and sailing the Fantasy on Saturday. But while on the Dream, I booked this October sailing and will be bringing my parents along with me.

For those that have never cruised before, CONGRATULATIONS on choosing the best way to start. Disney cruises are awesome for children, families, and adults alike. This cruise will be my 11th on Disney, 3rd on the Dream, and 21st cruise overall. So I am happy to answer questions that people have.

Also I will be happy to be the organizer for the FE exchange as I am familiar with it and don't mind the ins and outs of organizing it.

Will not be on the boards over the next week as I sail the Fantasy but will check back for sure later this month.

Yeah, Christopher! I'm so excited we're going to get to try out the fish extender thing! Count us in! (me - Tricia, husband - Jason, my mom - Fran, my daughter (9) - Frances, my son Jack (7), and my son, Joe (4).

Have you ever cruised so close to Halloween? I've read some reports saying that there might be trick or treating, etc. I'm wondering is our cruise is close enough to the holiday.

Fantasy was absolutely fabulous. I really like the differences that they have made between the Dream and Fantasy. Like comparing the Magic and Wonder, structurally the same but the decor and feeling is unique.

I look forward to getting back onto both of them as many times as the pocketbook will allow!

It has been tough though to come back from 2 weeks of sun and fun to snow and rain and really cold wind!!!

How long until we sail?????

Other milestones to hit ... three birthdays, end of school, kids at their grandparents' house, start of school, Not So Scary (we generally go in September) ... I'll get there by reaching my little goals, first!

Can't tell ya how excited to go on this cruise! It's going to be MAGICAL. I'll be spending my 40th birthday on Castaway Cay with my husband & 3 boys (12,9 & 4) my mom and other extended family. 5 cabins total! It will be a blast. I am also looking forward to doing the fish extenders. I'm a newbie so any info would be greatly appreciated!

I booked our room at the Hyatt Regency at the airport for Oct. 20, so hopefully we can catch the first ME bus to the port!! One step closer!! Is anyone flying to MCO a day early?

Hi there!

I'm Diane - it will be the 4 of us (Me, DH, DD (8) and DS (5))on this cruise, plus one set of grandparents. We are planning to fly in on Saturday and surprise the gang by taking a limo from MCO to the Residence Inn in Cape Canaveral.

We've cruised the Dream once before, and also have been on the Wonder. We always like to come in a day early to allow for any travel hiccup that might occur.

Can't wait to be at CC! I look forward to meeting ya'll.

Hello all.

Wel I promised myself that I would come back to this thread on the 150 days from sailing mark and do my best to get things rolling with the thread.

AND THAT DAY IS TODAY!!!!

So as I mentioned a while back, I am happy to be the organizer of the roll call and the FE exchange. So make sure you are subscribed to and monitoring this thread because we want to begin to get to know each other and share our excitement and planning as we count down these last 150 days.

I will start by going through the thread and building the roll call and post it in the next message that I can then add to as we have others join us. In the next week keep a watch out for the information about FE and how to sign up with me for that.

I am sure that many people will be planning summer vacation too and that may be in the forefront of people's minds but hopefully we can get some excitement building for this mid-October holiday too!
