Thats good that you booked a cabana they go fast. . well 2 days before the cruise we're getting married on the 19th in disney.

October 19th is our 10th anniversary!

it is exciting. Thanks

are you flying out straight after the wedding?
it's nice that you'll be able to honeymoon right away!
we had to drive back to grad school the day after our labor day wedding! (from detroit to chicago)..
but we didn't have to wait too long for a honeymoon -christmas vacation!

i've only booked a cabana and dinner and brunch at palo.

i haven't done online check in yet.

i'll get around to it eventually :)

wait a minute, i just re-read your post - you're getting married right before the cruise?

Did you give up your cabana on Serenity Bay? #19 is showing as available. Maybe you decided to grab one on the family beach instead?

Anyone know what they do at the pirate dinner, if anything?

I'm having it at the wedding pavilion, and yes about 70 people or so although still waiting for rsvps to come in to get the final count and all that stuff..

As far as pirate dinner it's nothing special that they do. There's a pirate menu which sucks I think, the waiters walk around the restaurant with a pirates flag and them in pirate like outfits they play music and grab people to join in. You also get bandanas.

wow! i guess Americans go all out. Plus it helps that my family and friends knows how much i love disney and they want to see me get married. I didnt invite everyone i limited it and cut the list down like twice too.

Yes thats the beautiful place next to GF and Poly. where you can see Cinderella's Castle in the background. . It most definitely is Gorgeous and they are also redoing it should be all done by my wedding. I checked it out in February of what they had done so far. i love it..

i agree it is all very exciting.

are you going to use the carriage to get to the ceremony? any characters coming? are you having a meal after the wedding? where?

details, we want details!! ;) (unless of course, you need to keep them a secret until the wedding - but then after the wedding, details and pictures!!!!!!)

i can't imagine having a wedding with only 10 people.....DD had 400 at hers (last year) and DS had 500 at his (3 years ago).....but weddings in Israel are always huge.....400 and 500 is just considered normal size here...
a large wedding is 800 or more....
on the other hand, DH and i had 132 people at our wedding 34 years ago :) - and that was considered very large in detroit at the time, but here in israel that's considered tiny...

Good god, that's scary!!!

:cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1:
We are all checked in!!!! I actually forgot the date and happened to decide this morning that I should figure out when we could check in and it was yesterday! LOL!!! Anyway, we got the 11 arrival time. The earlier for us the better! Booked a couple of shore excursions and we are all set!

Now we are off to the beach for the day. :beach: I think I'll close my eyes and pretend it is Castaway Cay!

No we're not having the Carriage or any Characters even though i would love both the prices for them are insane and the time is very short for both. that it doesnt make sense to pay all that for the short length of time. Yes we are having a reception after the wedding at the boardwalk. Nothing is really a secret except from my family haha.Ill probably post some Pictures after the cruise. haha

I cant imagine having a wedding with only 10 people either. WOW 400 hundred and 500 people i can imagine that. haha yeah gotta love Israel weddings. Im sure id probably have 200-300 people at mine if it wasnt in florida i had to cut the list down ALOT so if i was having it here in PA we'd be inviting alot more family and friends so im sure alot more of them would come. haha yeah 132 people is kinda small but its all good. size doesnt always matter. its more about the people that are there being there to support you guys and want to see you get married.

How do you go from Detroit to Israel? Ive always wanted to go to Israel.

Yeah!! I want to start doing my FE gifts, too, but was waiting to see what ur final count was. Do you think this is it, or do more people usually join as we get closer?

I'm betting we'll get bigger as we get closer. We have never booked a cruise this far in advance (we aren't very good at waiting :rotfl2:). We usually book a month out. So...I'd bet we have some more join. I'm starting on my FE stuff anyway. I'll just make a few extras and if they are left over I'll have more for ME. And Christmas will be right around the corner and you can never have to many stocking stuffers ;).
