However, since im platinum i get the free mean at palo's so ill probably go with the brunch. even though i dont like palo's.... Thats good that you booked a cabana they go fast. . well 2 days before the cruise we're getting married on the 19th in disney.
it is exciting. Thanks
did you book any excursions/dinners/spa treatments?
i've only booked a cabana and dinner and brunch at palo.
i haven't done online check in yet.
i'll get around to it eventually
wait a minute, i just re-read your post - you're getting married right before the cruise?
October 19th is our 10th anniversary!
are you flying out straight after the wedding?
it's nice that you'll be able to honeymoon right away!
we had to drive back to grad school the day after our labor day wedding!(from detroit to chicago)..
but we didn't have to wait too long for a honeymoon -christmas vacation!
Did you give up your cabana on Serenity Bay? #19 is showing as available. Maybe you decided to grab one on the family beach instead?
The wedding is in Disney so we'll already be down there for the cruise and we're driving out probably that monday or tuesday we havent decided yet. and im not sure if we're going to leave and head home right after the cruise or stay over another night... Ahh thats good you didnt have that long of a wait until your honeymoon Just a short 4 months
yes, i gave it up. too long a story!! i might also give up the palo dinner, haven't decided for sure yet. my sister says she wants to see the pirate dinner.
Anyone know what they do at the pirate dinner, if anything?
how cool to be having a wedding at disney!!!!!! where are you having it? are you having many guests?
I'm having it at the wedding pavilion, and yes about 70 people or so although still waiting for rsvps to come in to get the final count and all that stuff..
As far as pirate dinner it's nothing special that they do. There's a pirate menu which sucks I think, the waiters walk around the restaurant with a pirates flag and them in pirate like outfits they play music and grab people to join in. You also get bandanas.
wow!! that's a lot of people!! i'm used to the brits who marry at WDW and barely have 10 people at their weddings!
is that the beautiful pavilion between the GF and Poly?
it's gorgeous!!!!!!!
it's all very exciting!!!
wow! i guess Americans go all out. Plus it helps that my family and friends knows how much i love disney and they want to see me get married. I didnt invite everyone i limited it and cut the list down like twice too.
Yes thats the beautiful place next to GF and Poly. where you can see Cinderella's Castle in the background. . It most definitely is Gorgeous and they are also redoing it should be all done by my wedding. I checked it out in February of what they had done so far. i love it..
i agree it is all very exciting.

details, we want details!!(unless of course, you need to keep them a secret until the wedding - but then after the wedding, details and pictures!!!!!!)
i can't imagine having a wedding with only 10 people.....DD had 400 at hers (last year) and DS had 500 at his (3 years ago).....but weddings in Israel are always huge.....400 and 500 is just considered normal size here...
a large wedding is 800 or more....
on the other hand, DH and i had 132 people at our wedding 34 years ago- and that was considered very large in detroit at the time, but here in israel that's considered tiny...
Good god, that's scary!!!
actually it's wonderful fun - thankfully, weddings are much much much cheaper here than in the states, so it's not as bad as it sounds!!!
We are all checked in!!!! I actually forgot the date and happened to decide this morning that I should figure out when we could check in and it was yesterday! LOL!!! Anyway, we got the 11 arrival time. The earlier for us the better! Booked a couple of shore excursions and we are all set!
Now we are off to the beach for the day.I think I'll close my eyes and pretend it is Castaway Cay!

I've been making my fish extender gifts and counting down the days! I'm so excited!
Yeah!! I want to start doing my FE gifts, too, but was waiting to see what ur final count was. Do you think this is it, or do more people usually join as we get closer?
