Us too -glad we're not the only naugty ones flying day of :rotfl2: Are you meeting at 3 in the Atrium? If so, arrive with drink in hand, it soothes the mommy soul from missing the kiddos TOO much!! Safe travels!

Arrived back home at 11:00 pm after spending almost 12 hrs in the Orlando Airport! So glad to be home, but missing the Dream! What GORGEOUS ship! We were on the Magic last year in November and as beautiful as it was, I was slightly disappointed with the food quality. Not on the Dream! The food was spectacular! Actually everything was! Hubby and I had an amazing time and can't wait to sail on the Fantasy soon!

Hope everyone enjoyed their trip!

Got home last night What a beautiful week we had- I miss it already!!!! My daughter had the time of her life, we have already decided we will be cruisin' again soon!!!!

For all those in my mini FE, thank you for all the wonderful gifts, they were so sweet. I hope you enjoyed our gifts and have some great conversations about the magical DREAM!!! Until we all sail again, keep smilin:dance3:

Hi recent DREAM cruises...got a quick question for you.

Did they charge your tips to your statrooms automatically for this cruise? They were doing it on the Magic for the Med cruises and are continuing it now that the ship is back. Last Saturday and today cruisers were given a letter at check in (or in their stateroom) advising that tips at the suggested amount would be charges and they could be changed at Guest Services (up or down).

We (DISers) are trying to determine if this is fleet wide or if they are just 'experimenting' on the Magic.

Hope you all had a great cruise...my turn in 4 weeks! :woohoo:

We got envelopes in our room Tuesday night, but we prepaid our tips about a week before our cruise. We still added another 15% to each envelope realizing that the suggested amount really does not thank them for all that they do... like send a covered dish with your spouse when you have to take a sleepy child back to the stateroom, or while you're trying to settle one kid in their seat they cut up their food for them and do a 'floating spoon' trick that I STILL can't figure out, or ordering french onion soup simply because they overheard you saying you should have tried it...

So to answer your question, no - tips were not included automatically but I would welcome it and think of it as a convenience!

Thanks for the quick reply. :thumbsup2 I also agree it is a great convenience (and usually pre-pay mine anyway and add cash at the end).

I have finished all 28 FE bags!! I think they came out soooo cute! Can't wait to leave on Saturday morning!!!! :yay:

OK, you get the best wrapped award. I almost didn't want the kids to open them LOL.

Hi FE friends,
West Coasters cabin number is changing, we were able to move from a porthole to a Verandah for a small fee but no cabin assignment yet. Not sure what it is yet but will try and leave a note on our old cabin number so our FE friends will know.

Thanks
Wolf Family :)

We had a terrible time finding you! I finally took your gift to the kids club, asked if I could leave with them, they said....wait, here is the room number (I wasn't sure what I thought about this but.....atleast I got to get your gift to your room)!

Well, it is over. Where did the week go? We just got home a bit ago as we spent Thurday-Friday nights at Universal. It was POURING when we left. Came home to PA to warmer weather than Florida :confused3. It was great meeting everyone, loved the FE, I hope everyone liked their gifts!! Our family loved ours :)

So sad our vaca is over. But I wanted to thank EVERYONE for the FE gifts. It really was SO much fun to wake up/come home and find our FE stuffed with presents!! My whole family really got excited over it! Even my 14 yr old son wanted to help deliver gifts with me. We loved EVERYTHING, but my kids really enjoyed the light-up ring things (those were a huge hit), my 5 yr old will not take off the mickey mouse watch that someone gave him, he LOVES it! The Christmas ornaments were cute, along with the embroidered towel! The plastic containers for around your neck were neat for collecting seashells at Castaway. LOVE the magnets and photoframes/books, including the cute pic of MM. I know I am forgetting lots more, including all the candy!!!! So a huge thank you to everyone who made our vaca magical. I wish we could have met more of you, we did not get to do the meet up but managed to run into a few of you on ship. Can't wait to go again!

Thank you for tracking us down! We got a last minute upgrade and I was so busy with the kids I never made it to post anything on our old cabin number! Thank you to everyone for the wonderfully creative gifts we received... I was in awww of craftiness and creativity many of you delivered... A sincere thank you!

The stateroom host at your old cabin was my lifesaver in finding you!

Wish I had gotten to meet everyone, we were pretty delayed getting to the ship on Disney transportation from the resorts. Thanks to everyone for the FE gifts, my nieces LOVED having new things to explore every night. The finger puppets from Peruvian were a huge hit in my cabin (we had our own nightly show happening on the bunk bed).

I hope I was able to make the distibution a little easier for everyone. If anyone has any feedback, please let me know. This is the second cruise I have done the map on and am trying to find that perfect organizational tool.

Ah well...back to clearing out all this email that piled up at work while I was gone. Just gonna keep reminding myself that a week ago we were enjoying a day at sea...

We're almost back to "normal" around here! What a great trip! We had a great time and booked our next one before we got off the boat. thanks for the tips on that!
The FE's were great fun! We loved every crumb! We learned things, had toys and games and puppets even to occupy everyone in cabin, and enough candy to last ages! My fridge is covered in magnets! We look forward to filling frames, and pulling out our christmas ornaments each year! We will be enjoying our treasures for days, weeks and years to come, thank you! So fun!
I realized when we got started delivering that our bundle for adult only staterooms was meager, sorry! we were so focused on the kids...lesson learned! also got a kick out of how HUGE my FE's were! they didn't seem so big in the real world, lol! We will be better prepared next time!
It was fun to meet a few of you too. Just to have a face to go with the name, you know.
Counting down to 2013. We're planning a week next time!

I LOVED the map. Our room was down the hall from yours.....my kids would walk by your room, look in your FE and if there was anything in it, they would start bouncing to get to our room!
