My DD10 and I were talking and we thought it would be really cool if some of the kids got a chance to "meet" before boarding the ship. It would be cool to share some of the anticipation and planning; and they would all have ready made friends once the got on board.

Congrats on the 10th Anniversary! We are celebrating our 8th on this vacation.

Just booked Palo brunch this morning. We are in at 10:30!!

Also booked dinner at Palo on Tuesday and a couples cabana massage at Castaway Cay.

Really feels like it is getting close now!! Can't wait to meet everyone!

While we are not traveling for our anniversary we are traveling without our kiddos. We got brunch at 11:30PM - very excited!

Just wanted to say hi. I was wondering what people were doing before and after the cruise. For us we get to Old Key West on the 11th. Then we are going on the three night sailing on the 14th, then this cruise, then back to Old Key West till the 27th.

Where in LA do you live? I lived in Thousand Oaks for five years when I was growing up.

Since I am starting to think about the FE gifts, I was wondering how this works (since we have never done it). Especially for the adults, are we planning on gifts for all adults or just per cabin? Obviously, kids would get their own gifts. Just curious, what everyone else was thinking.

We are going to Aruba for the week before the cruise. We are spending the night before the cruise at the Hyatt at MCO and on a flight back to Boston the afternoon we sadly get off the ship. We are skipping the parks on this trip.

I have been to Aruba twice. Nice little island but I could not spend an extended amount of time there but I hope you have fun. I will be there on Jan 11 on the Wonder. I live in Westchester which, if you do not remember, sits pretty much on the Northern Runways of LAX.

Sorry, can't help here. In 6 cruises I have never done a FE. Not my thing, but I hope all enjoy.

We can make a decision to do it a certain way as a group if we would like to. Most of the other groups I have looked at leave it up to each individual. Some people do stateroom gifts (just one gift for everyone in the stateroom), some do gifts for each individual and others do one gift for kids and another for adults. I really don't think there is any "right" way to do it! It is just supposed to be fun and people should feel free to do what they would like!

I think I am going to do a gift for adults and another for the kids. I have a few ideas but will finalize once we know exactly how many people are going to participate.

If you have more questions/ideas on the FE we can certainly discuss them here! I want everyone to have fun with it!!!

Hey all. This will be our first Disney cruise, in fact, my wife and daughter's first cruise period. We have no idea what we are getting into, but we know it will be Disney fun. We are from TN. Would be glad to partake in any group adventures and traditions. But we are ignorant to them, so we need tollorant folks.
