Allen,
I'm not knowledgeable when it comes to wine. I just know that a cork is better than a screw-off cap :teeth: But Spätburgunder is ususally a good one BTW: 'ä' = ALT 132)

Allen & Michelle,
I will try to get my Auntie's pass for a special warehouse where small businesses buy their supplies. Surprise eggs are 55 Cents a piece (about $.70), but at this warehouse I should be able to get them at a much lower price. I'll check it out and let you know it.
Next week a pal of mine will return from Canada. He's going to bring us some Peanutbuttercups and some S'mores from Reeses - And two games for my PSP (Playstation Portable). I bought my PSP in Bangkok as it won't be release in Europe before 09/01/05. I ordered 'Tiger Woods Golf' and 'Need For Speed Underground Rivals'

Ok, I can't get the Alt 132 to work.... :confused3
Cork vs Screw-off Cap....depends on what the screw-off cap is on!! :teeth:
Place your order..what other games do you need? :earboy2:

Thanks, Allen.
Gamewise I'm OK for the time being. I bought two in Bangkok, and hopefully my pal brings another two from Canada.
Michelle & Allen,
I just mailed something to Laura in North Carolina. When I was at the post office I took some leaflets/pricelists about sending packages abroad. I'll check them out regarding sending Surprise-Eggs across the Great Pond. And I also have to sacrifice myself and get some eggs to weigh them.

ALT 132 only works with the Numeric Pad - It does not work with the number-keys in the upper row!

Eric when do you pick up the new car? Is Anja interested in getting her driver's license at all? Suppose you break you leg, God forbid, who would drive her then? I know that Germany has a great public transportation system in place, but she needs a license JIC. (just in case). After all if she could cruise the autobahn with the top down, and just feel the rush of speed and being in control of that power.:rotfl:

Hope that all on the magic are having a great time in the Pacific.

Hot and humid here and the unofficial state birds (mosquitoes) have decided that they would like to come out for a snack and play. Mike

Folks,
you just received a mail from behr.fra@arcor.de. This is an adress of mine you don't know yet. This mail is an invitation providing a link to have a look at some of the pics taken during our Thailand trip. Doing all this while watche the European Song Contest I garbled my mail a bit (Senior moment ;) ) The mail you received starts with a standard text produced by my ISP, but then there is an English message as well, which should read:

Hi Friends,
I eventually managed to upload some of our Thailand pics to our new ISP's server. We hope you like them. I'll upload more in the next days.
If you send me your pics, I can also set up an album with pics of all cruisers who want to be in it. I got 10 Gigs space, which should be
sufficient ;-)
Have a great weekend

Anja & Eric

That was quick, Tracy.
Glad you like them. There'll be more very soon.

Mike,
the dealer stated a delivery time of about six weeks, so it should arrive at the dealership when we're in Vienna. He will then send the title to Frankfurt and I will register it myself. This is usually done by the dealer, but as he's located 135 miles (I checked it with my routeplanner) from Frankfurt I will do it, but will be reimbursed by him.
Then we'll drive up there and simply switch cars. He'll just have to attach the tags, give us instruction for the new features, and then we'll hit the road. we hope to be able to combine this with a visit to the other Germs.
No, Anja still doesn't want to get her license. And with the new car being equipped with a six-speed shiftstick it's scaring her off even more ;) It was only availabe with an four-speed automatic as an option, which is IMHO outdated. If they'd offered it with a five or six-speed auto I would have been willing to invest the extra Grand - But FOUR speeds only :sad2: This is 2005!!
I'm still working on her, but I guess it's hopeless. It may run in the family: Her Mom is 64 in still can't drive. My Mom got her license at 30 or so, drove once, got in a row with my Dad about her driving - and has never driven again since then :rotfl2:
Perhaps we'll have to do a half-year stay in the USA: If you stay abroad for 185 days or more a foreign license can simply be converted into a German one. And as American driving licenses can be more or less obtained at vending machines this could be a feasible alternative :rotfl: Over here a person of Anja's age has to pay an average of €2000 for a license - That' $2600!!! An 18 year old pays an average of €1500, but a rule-of-thumb says one extra driving lesson for each year of age, which adds at least another 500 Euros.

OK,
betdime now: It's 1220am, Greece has just won the Eurovision Song Contest - Our contestant finished a shameful last (Of 24 competing countries :guilty: )
Anja has to work the dayshift, starting at 0630am.

Great pictures Eric, thank you for sharing. Mike

Hi All - I just found this. Can anyone fill me in on "Cruiestoberfest?" (Did I spell that right?) I just booked our first ever cruise for 10/14/06. It will be me, DH, DS12, and DS16 (at the time).

Looking forward to "meeting" you all!

Hi Guys, Bette & kim here...

Well we are slightly recovered from yesterday, but will still hit the sack early tonight. After being out on deck from 3:30 am until 4:30 pm we were zonked. Did I mention that I found out today from a castmember that is was 102F in the shade on Deck 10.

Tomorrow is another sea day, and then Monday we will be in Acapulco.

JeanneG... No villan art work to be had, however Ducky does have 2 pieces, one is "Friends" the other is "Crew", both are mushy type drawings @ $ 15.00 each. Let me know if you are interested.

Anyone else need/want anything from the ship or Disneyland ???

The Magic is rockin pretty good tonight, Rocks me to sleep real nice!!!

Sorry we are not sending individual e-mail updates, the computers are still royally screwed up and already tonight we have been kicked off 3x.

We will run now, ( No, not literally)
Bye, Bette & Kim

Bette and Kim take care and have a great voyage. Glad that you were able to experience a once in a lifetime event on the first Panama canal transit for the disney Magic.

A nice baseball-hat from DL would be cool. I would pick it up and reimburse you in October when we come to visit you.
Danke schön for offering this :wave2:

The same goes for everone else requiring any data to be updated :wave2:

Hi Everyone--- We are back from WDW. Got back late last night. The weather was great no rain, plenty of sunshine and not much humidty. Now the high in PA is going to be what the low in Florida was. It was our first time back to OKW in 4 years and I most say that I was so very happy to be back home. We spent Saturday night at Pop Century and we all hated it. It is so noisy over there. At OKW we were on Miller's Road right at the 7th hole and were entertained by the golfers. The 4 guys golfed 3 days and then Brian and his friend Justin golfed again on Friday. With 6 adults, the larger living area at OKW is a much better fit than the other DVC resorts. Since we are not cruising on points in 2006 hopefully all my future visits to WDW I can do at OKW.

We loved Soaring and were able to do it 3 times during our trip. The last night in the parks are great except Epcot really needs to have more help working on their night. There are limited attractions opened and the rides that were open only had limited staff and the rides were not running at full capacity, thus making it long waits. Longer than during the day. I would probably skip Epcot late night in the future.

Jim--- It was Star War weekend at MGM and I thought of you. Had I realized I could have picked up something for you. The park was busy, but not people on rides. Everyone was lined up to see all the Star War characters. Plus other special events. Other than Darth Vader I had no idea who anyone else was, but they were all over the parks. Of course, at times it was hard to tell who was there as guest or was an actual character from the movie. You and Fionna should schedule a visit to WDW when the event is going on.

Rosemary, Norm and I will be celebrating our 35th anniversay in 2006.

Jeanne-- PM me with your plans for the coming weekend. I don't golf because I know I would be terrible. However, Brian wants a new set of clubs for his 21st birthday, so maybe I can use his old clubs and try to play the game.

Glad the Panama Cruisers are having a good time. Sorry to hear about the tragedy at CC. We had that happen on a previous cruise we were on.
Bette and Kim, Peter and Jenn, Dave and Ellen enjoy the remainder of your cruise.

Off to do laundry and to the grocery store.

Nancy
