Rosemary is time zone challenged :rotfl2: Rosemary just could not help myself. We still love ya. Mike

Central time is one hour behind Toronto/New York. Noon here is 11:00 a.m. there. :)

I've been tinkering with screen captures from the webcam. I was told Kim wanted some static pictures that she could change. I'll be following the webcam for today, but I'm using the computer with Windows 98 on it to get the images (because the other two won't do it). If you're not up on Windows 98, it's a POS.

Here's my static link with test stuff on it:

Just to make the confusion complete: It will be 1930hrs for us or 730pm :rotfl:
Thanks for posting the links and especially for the animated GIF - That was great!!!

We just returned from a wonderful day at the zoo.
This morning I made a reservation for a special license plate for the new car. We don't have vanity-plates in Germany. Our registrations consist of one to three letters for the city or county (i.e M for Munich, HH for Hamburg, or MTK for Main-Taunus-Kreis a county near Frankfurt) then there is a space for the registration and technical supervision stamps, another one or two letters followed by a number of one to four digits. So the only way to customize your tag is to play with those restricted possibilities. It is very common to have your initials as your registration. Our present car is F CC 2060 as it's registered in Frankfurt and it is a Peugeot 206CC.
Our new car will be F UN 1308. So we have FUN and our wedding date as a registration this time.
BTW, due to the very distinctive American tags members of the American forces were easy to recognize in Germany. Nowadays members of the American Forces have tags starting with HK or AD followed by aforementioned letter/number-combos. The left section of all European tags has the European Flag on it (12 golden stars arranged in a circle on a blue rectangle) with the respective country's letter in it's center (D for Germany, B or Belgium, etc). The American tags have the NATO-Star instead of the European Flag. This was introduced as a safety measure well before 9-11 to make American cars blend in better with traffic.

Jim,
could we upload pics of cruisers to that server? I recently installed Frontpage to my notebook and wanted to start toying around with it to build something for the group.

what a fun day! I've been up since 5:30 (central) watching the PC cams and checking posts. We have a chat room for our PC cruise and a bunch have been in there all morning. Been trying to talk Renee into coming back.

Oh, I forgot to mention, Mom is home and doing pretty well. Hurts more this time than last, but overall feels better with the three stents.

Thanks everyone!

Tracy

Eric: Wow, that's interesting with the license tags for Americans over there now. We have our old "USA" tag hanging in the garage.

All: Neat pictures of the Magic going through the Panama Canal today!

Hope everyone is doing well! Have a great weekend!

Laura,
I just sent you a mail: We got the shirts for your DS - Check it out!!

They haven't moved the cam to look at Pedro Miguel yet.

Not at this point, but I'll look in to it. I sent you an email about it some time ago but never got a reply.

Whomever is controlling the Miraflores webcam is driving me nuts. It's been showing a view of the water for the last 20 minutes.

If anyone is not getting real-time updating on the webcam, try this link:

CZBrats

Mozilla loves it and the webcam refreshes every 10 seconds.

On Sunday we can start booking our excursions and Palo time for the Repo cruise. And that is our 12th anniversary

I sent you a reply, saying that for the time being I didn't know how to program a homepage. Obviously it got lost somehow, sorry.

Laura,
got your mail.

Has anyone here thought about getting a chat room together for the CF group? It's a lot of fun, though time consuming :rotfl2:

I hope our Repo group will get to have a Live from the Magic thread. It'll be neat to see how big it gets!
