Hi from :sunny: FL. Still no snow here. :earboy2:
Happy New Years to Everyone!!!! :Pinkbounc

Having a great time with sister and family. Brought the kids to Funland on Thursday, then took just the girls shopping on Thursday evening and Friday afternoon. They had holiday gift cards to "spend". Twin sister and I just hung out and chatted while the girls spent thier money.
We went out for dinner Wed. and Thur. night, but stayed home on NYE.
Today we had black-eyed peas with cornbread for dinner. Then played some poker, just for fun. But I won!

Loved reading all the posts!
Big welcome to the Cunninghams! Great Christmas present story!

Getting late and I have to work in the AM. So goodbye for now.

OK Rich ... I know I'm short BUt there a few of us in the club, right Anja!

Watched the Disney Christmas Parade and wonder why they didn't show that much from ths ship? Also for New Year's they showed Disneyland and DisneyWorld but nothing from the ship? HEY ... I want to see the ship (I miss her!)

Back to my laundry ...

I actually have Usher's "Confession" CD. I really like all the songs on the CD. Plus on aol you can view some of his live video's from his recent tour. "Yeah" would make a great sail away song.

Well, we started the New Year off with the toilet exploding in our main bathroom. The pipe between the fresh water and the tank blew off and water went everywhere. Thank heavens just my laundry room is under the bathroom as water was dripping down there. We were just ready to leave the house when it happened. Thank heavens we were home and could contain the damage to the bathroom. Several years ago we had that happen in our downstairs bathroom while we were on vacation in WDW. My neighbor noticed it when he say water running out of our garage. He came in and shut the water off and even fixed the pipe (he is a retired plumber). By the time he discovered it our entire downstairs was flooded. Nothing like coming home from vacation to deal with water damage. He is away this weekend so will have to have a plumber come tomorrow to fix it. Thank heavens we have 2 bathrooms.

Why can't I just have a nice quiet holiday.

We had our traditional holiday meal of pork and sauerkraut to bring us good luck. I guess we should have had it for breakfast since maybe the good luck doesn't start till after you eat the meal.

Will begin to take down some of the Christmas directions later today.

Cathy,
did you check out that there was no-one with a camera before you went down on your knees? :earboy2:

I just wanted to pop on and say HI! and thank you for the warm welcome! I recognize a lot of names, but don't know many of you. I can't wait to know you better and meet you in person onboard! Our holidays here are over. We didn't decorate a whole lot before we left, so there was little to put up! That was nice, but the stuff from vacation still seems to be in EVERY room in the house! I need to get organized and quick! Over the 17 days we were away, I managed to take nearly 600 photos! All digital, so I'll be spending some time picking and printing and hopefully by February, I will be scrapping them into a book!

Eric ... trust me there was just Art, AshLee and me in the house when I got down on all 4's again ... no one with a camera. By the Way, as we were doing the floor (401 square feet worth) Art noticed that the Pergo originated in Germany. Love the floor ... just wish it came with a little "German" in one of the boxes that could have helped us with the install!

Nancy ... I only have one thing to say YUCK! It doesn't seem like that much water until it's running all over the place. Happy New Year anyway.

Kathy just told me that she wants to go cruising so bad that she is even willing to go slumming and cruise on carnival. :earboy2: Our first two seven day cruises were on carnival out of New Orleans. We enjoyed them even when the ship in the middle of the night in the Gulf of Mexico lost all power with no explanation. Mike

:rotfl: I have to warn you: Those little Germans are nearly unaffordable pirate:

Tomorrow (Wednesday) at noon public life will rest for three minutes in all 25 states of the European Union: Three minutes of silence for the victims of the Tsunami :guilty: The last time we did this was after 9-11.

It's 7am over here, I just shuttled Anja to the hospital and then went back home. At 8am I will go to our City Hall to get a new passport as mine will expire in April, and then I'll see my doc to get some shots for our trip to Thailand.

Our Wonder (12/19 cruise) lost power for about 5 mins or so! We were in Shutters looking at photos and poof...out it went. So, we thought we better check on the boys as they were in the kids clubs. They were fine, but wanted to see National Treasure with us. By the time we checked them out of both clubs and got to the theater, the power was back! It took a few more minutes to get the a/c working and you could feel it start to warm up in the theater with so many people in there. It was our last day, so we were at sea. I figured if anything, we could drift back to FL. We weren't that far away. :)

They have really large oars stowed away. If need arises all the portholes on Deck 2 are opened and the guests staying there have to row the ship pirate:

Another possibility would be to flush all toilets simultaneously. There are rumours that this alone generates sufficient thrust to propel the ship :earboy2:

Eric ... Watch it, the "Four F's" are booked for Deck 2 on the 06 cruise. As I recall, they were still able to pull off the win in the Scavangear Hunt in Key West. Given the amount of Cruisetoberfest'ers booked for 06, I'm sure we can either oar our load (or flush it) and get the ship back to the port! (Sorry, the Devil made me post that!)

Cathy, my Dear:
What am I sending The List for? If you take a closer look, you'll see that we are on Deck 2 as well pirate:

BTW: The Four Fs didn't pull the win in Key West - all the pulling was done by an electric motor :earboy2:

I guess since Andy and I are on deck 2 we'll be joining in in the oaring party.

Better start working out now and build up those arm muscles...

Arlene :boat:

Note to self: Be sure to stay off deck 2! :cool1: We are on 7 this time, towards the front too...I'll just give ya'll directions back to shore!

Note to self; don't tell other Cruisetoberfester's about secret verandah on deck 2. It is only for us dungeon dwellers. :cloud9: Mike
