Hi Guys kim here...


There has been a lot of talk about "Cookie Night" so I will tell you a bit about it.

We have a party every year in the evening( this year during the day) a week or so before Christmas for friends.

We can only hold about 60 people in the house at any one time so we have to limit the invitations. Some people as you can read from the boards have come before and some are coming for the 1st time. How you get on the invitation list is kind of like the old " tag fairy" routine here on the boards, you never know when you will hear from us. Ist timers are always refrered as " newbies" at the annual party.

How was the party named "cookie Night " ? : Secret answer, you need to attend to find out otherwise it would spoil the fun for you in the future.

If one family ( friend) can't make the party then hopefully someone else can make it from the wonderful Disers list of friends. Hopefully we will see many of you this December.

We'll spend a weekend with the other Germs in December
We're going to drive up there on12/11, do some horsebackriding, then go the Xmas-market in Germany's bestest mall and have dinner then. There's a nice hotel adjacent to the mall, and the next day we're going to visit Anja's Auntie & Uncle, who live nearby.

Happy belated anniversary to Peter and Jenn!! Hope you had one sprinkled with lots of pixie dust!!

Our washer decided to bite the dust over the weekend...had a guy come to look at it yesterday and he told Sam that it would be too costly to fix it...so off to the appliance store today so Sam can get a new washer (he does all of the laundry in the house!!). Oh well, another bill to pay!!

Snow on the ground today...it was about 29 degrees today and much to cold so soon!

I feel for you! We're counting down the load until our dryer poops out on us! I dread having to make that purchase.

We had a lot of snow in Germany too - But fortunately not in our area. Nevertheless I will put the snow tyres on our convertible next weekend as experts recommend them as soon as the temps hit the low 40ies.

Hey Cruisetoberfest II alumni -

I finally got around to posting a recent picture of the girls. It's one of my mom with Emily and Madison in their Halloween costumes. Mom made both costumes and the girls just looked too cute.

Can you believe it, Emily is already 3 and Maddie is 6 months now? They grow fast, that's for sure.

Renee (piglet33) - just wanted to let you know that Haley is just too cute. She's grown up so much in the past year.

We just booked our hotel for the re-union with the other Germs
And earlier this evening I chatted with Jeff from Cruisetoberfest II on AOL. It's Jeff of Jeff & Gaby aka SilentShot. We'll have lunch together on Monday in a mall close to our offices - I hope to convince him to accompany us in '06. And he was in Costa Maya after our cruise, so I can pump him for some info. I'll keep Y'all posted.
