I finally get to catch up on the boards. It has been a while. Thank you everyone for your congrats. Nov. 12 is our last competion. :( The good thing is that it is at Giants Stadium. Wish us luck.

Reminder to send kids info to me at cruisetoberkids@yahoo.com and not to Eric.

Van and Debbie: congratulations on the wonderful news....I think of you guys often and marvel at the grace with which you handle your struggles. Please know you're remembered in my prayers.

And speaking of prayers.......I hate to ask for anything that has a "financial" twist to it but now it's starting to become a mental health thing......if anyone has an "in" with the Lord could you please ask him to send a buyer for my house. We are now paying 2 mortgages and bridge loan and I'm getting very tired of keeping my house so clean! All four of my kids will be home in less than 3 weeks and I don't want to have to be on their case all the time. We lowered the price and still haven't had a showing in over 2 weeks. They've scheduled an open house for this Sunday....maybe this will be the one.

So many pages to catch up on!

:thewave:
We have OFFICIALLY (via our deposit) become a Cruisetoberfest IV member. Put down our payment today with AAA.
Eric - same room as last time so, no need to change a thing.
JeanneC - we will be neighbors again! Wonder if the pesky magnet turner will be too!
Bette and Kim - sent you guys a pm.

Glad to hear everyone is doing well, not too glad to see our updated ages on the new list! Now just under 2 years to get dive certified. Also, Eric, Chris wants us to definitely be included in the jet ski tour at CC. I don't know how he will make it until 2006!

Denise

Denise & Chris - so glad that you will be coming with us again. Now Chris allow Denise to come a day early so that you can have fun with the rest of us!! (and what a good looking bunch we are! -- especially that cutie at the end).

Jeanneg - pixie dust your way for a buyer. I know it's not fun to be in your position and hey if you're cleaning you can't be dissing so that's a reason for the pixie dust right there.

Audit is finally over, thankfully. Now back to regular work.

Fiona

jeanneg...good luck on selling the house! You may need to bury a statue of St. Joseph in your front yard. This is supposed to bring you good luck in finding a buyer!

We did this when we sold our old house....you can actually do a search on the internet for (and don't laugh!) "St Joseph Real Estate Kit." You wrap him up, bury him upside down either facing the street or the house....I forget which...and then say the prayer to St Joseph everyday. After you sell your house, you have to display him in a promenent area in your new home....a plastic St Joseph statue now sits on our mantle......(felt guilty not displaying him....am I Catholic or what?!!)

You can also go to any Catholic store and find one, that is where my mom got ours.

wow this thread moves:) finally caught up. Thanks Renee & others for info on haircut at WDW - I think we will try it if the wait is not too long, 15 min sounds ok.

I like the website, looks great!

Van & Debbie - great news, happy for you!

To jeanne - lots of luck with the open house. I'm sure someone sells magic pixie dust;) you can sprinkle around.

Jeanneg: Good luck with selling your house. We have been there and done that with 2 houses. We just sold our last house and moved here in September.

Van: Congrats to your wife. What good news!

We just got 2 new kitties last night. Both of our kitties died less than a year apart and I miss them terribly. They are Jasper (4-1/2) all white, Siamese mix and Hera (3) a black and white, shy sweetie. Jasper is sleeping under the computer desk right now and Hera is in her box upstairs.

I really hope we don't change anything so that Arnold can become president. I still think you should be American born, no matter how popular you are.

Would it work with someone like St. Johnny Depp? St Joseph doesn't match my decor. (Now I'm really going to hell, forget about selling the house!)

Hey, I just wrote "hell" and didn't get censored! Feel so good I just have to say b-o-o-b-i-e!

Jeanne-
as I always say....the flames of hell are constantly biting my rear end....it gets hotter everyday! St Joseph, although on our mantle, is hidden in a jungle of plants....

OH! Cookie Night!!! :D We SO wanted to attend last year. I don't remember if the day was inconvenient or if we decided you were just too far away to travel to in the timeframe we had.

(Tulirose wondering outloud if invites will be going out again this year and just where in NH did Bettemom and Kim live?.......)

Bette and Kim, Sorry we can't make it to the Cookie Party. It sounds like lots of fun. Maybe Rosemary can go in our place.;)
Jeanneg: Pixie Dust ******* right at ya. St. Jude, St. Joseph, and Johnny Depp, what a combo. LOL Maybe you could bury the statues and fly a pirate flag at the same time?pirate: And I can say this because not only am I Catholic, I am also a Johnny Depp fan.:teeth: :teeth:
Fridayfun.....:cool1:

Got to run.
:lovestruc to everyone.

Not To Be Missed...

Goodbye sorts and shortleaved t-shirts, hello pants and coats.:(

Denise -- So glad to hear that you and Chris are now officially members of Cruisetoberfest IV. And you're worried about your ages on the list?? We are actually getting younger every year.

In the excitement of my retirement, I forgot about transferring my reservation to a TA to see if I could get a decent onboard credit. I will have to get back to that next week. You are booked with AAA. Did you get a big onboard credit? I did call a AAA TA here in Charlotte to see if I could get $150 obc and she was supposed to call me back after she talked to her manager, but she never did. Just wondered what AAA is offering out your way. I need to follow up on Laura's and Jeanne's TA's next week.

Jeanne -- I have heard many stories of people who sold their homes shortly after St. Joseph was buried upside down. Good luck!

On The Job Front ...

They Have Brought in There Own Company employees That they Work 13 Hours A Day on Salary ...

But They Are Slower Than Hell.. and Have Decided To keep Craig And I For one More Week... It Is Hard to Walk Around And Do Nothing All Day..

Spoke To oNe Of them Today And he Asked Me if I Was Stilll
MAD AT THE WORLD..

I Said As A Matter of fact I Was ...
And It Was His Fault .. BeCause Guys Like Him Come onto A project Work For A Company For Less Than What They Deserve
By Law and I in Return go Out The Door ...
I Said Stand up for What is Right .. And What you deserve and Then That Would Force The Company To do The Right Thing and Not Allow them To Break The Law... This is A $250 million dollar project And I Think The Contractor Will do Ok Even if They Dont Screw there Employees To do It...

Peace out Peter
